Chapter 11: Shiv

It's hard to believe that Raven is really gone, yes I haven't known her that long, but still. I have to admit I did like Raven when I first met her but then I met Shantal, and I have to say, thing have been really hitting off with Shantal and I.

I was the first to wake up. I get up from where I was sitting and walk outside. It was chilly outside today. Sense there was nothing to do I just stared. I get the sense that someone was behind me, I grab my sword and swiftly turn around to come face to face with Crescent "BRUH, WOAH, CHILL!" Crescent yells at me with my sword against his throat. I put away my sword "Sorry Cre, you just scared me" I hear russleing in the bushes behind me. Crescent and I just stand there in silence. After alittle bit the russleing went away. "What was that" I ask Crescent "I-I don't kn-" he cuts himself off and stares at something or someone behind me. I turn around to see nothing. "Why were you stareing" I ask Crescent "To many questions not enough answers" he snaps at me and walks off.

I caught up with Shantal on our journey out of the spooky forest "Hey Shantal" I say running up to her "Yes Shiv?" I got distracted in her beautiful midnight blue eyes "Umm.. Umm" I forgot what I was going to say "Oh right! I want to take you somewhere" she looks at me "And where is this somewhere" I smirk at her "Oh, you'll see" I yell at Dakota and Crescent "Hey guys, let's stop here I- I'm going to take Shantal somewhere, we'll be right back" I see Crescent smirking and Dakota trying not to giggle "Alright, we'll be here" Crescent says and waves us off.

Once we got to where we were going Shantal stopped me in my tracks "Look if this is to get my mind off of Raven, no matter how sweet it is, it's not going to work" I look at her "No, it wasn't suppose to, I just wanted to take you to one of my favorite spots growing up here" Shantal looks at me blankly "Yo-you lived here?" I look at her then at the ground "Yea, I'm an orphan" I told Shantal, oh my god, my secret was revealed, "Oh, heh, same here, all I have is my mom, who never really talks to me a lot" I smile "The gods never talk to their children, or sometimes they do but not all the time" I shake the thought out of my head "Come on I don't want to be late" "Late fo-" I take her wrist and drag her to an open grassy area with a waterfall in the background "Wow.." I look at her. I grab her other wrist and face her towards me "Shiv.." She whispers "Yea.." I ask. She smiles and looks at me. I take one of my hands off her wrist and put it gently under her chin. I pull her lips gently to mine until they met. Her lips were soft and gentle and tasted like pineapples, or I think it was pineapple. I keep kissing her and after awhile she stops me "Well then, never knew you where such a great kisser" I smirk "Neither did I" she laughs "Best. Night.Ever" she says to me "Amazing" I say back.

Crescent:

"My ship has finally sailed" I say trying to get Dakota to laugh "My ship sunk" I look over at her "What?" She sighs "I shipped you and Raven, but then she died, so my ship sunk" I look at her "Well that's depressing" Dakota looks at me with a face that read Dude, shut up before I punch you I hold up my hands in surrender. "Looks like we're staying here tonight" Dakota says "I'll go set up the tent" she says as she walks off to set up the tent. I look at the moon and sigh "Artemis, please don't let Raven be dead, please just have her be tricking us" I say, I could feel the tears coming. I turn around to see a shadowy figure standing in front of me "Raven?" I say "Shhhh" the figure says and pulls me into the darkness.
