Chapter 18: Raven

I didn't know where I was but all I knew is that I had to get out of this place. I wake up in a jail cell. The cell had stone brick walls, stone floor, and a bed that didn't look that nice. "Where in the world am I?" I ask myself. I hear a speaker go off 'Raven Jackson, Welcome to your forever home, where we slowly suck out your power to leave you to nothing, the process will start tomorrow, have a good night' I stand there in shock and yell at the speaker "HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO HAVE A GOOD NIGHT ADTER YOU SAY THAT, AND WHO EVEN ARE YOU" I get no response. I sigh and say "Just my luck.." I head over to the bed and lay down on it. I could feel the springs. I sigh and lay down, hoping that this is all a dream.

MORNING

I wake up to no light. Was is it morning? I wasn't so sure. I hear footsteps coming closer and closer to my cell. Someone stops at the front of of cell and says "Raven Jackson, Come with me so that we can start the process" I sigh and say "Only if you answer my three questions," The guy takes a deep breath and says "Fine,but make it quick," "Ok, one, Who are you?" The guy answers "My name is Carter.." I nod my head and ask "Two, where am I?" Carter answers "You are in a facilitated area in Mississippi, the same state that you and your friends fell in 3 weeks ago," "K.. Not a very good area, but ok, and three,What are you going to do to me?" Carter answers "We are going to drain all of your magic energy out of your system" I stand there with big eyes "Why are you going to do that to me?" Carter smirks and say "You said three questions, you should probably check your math" I cross my arms over my chest "Now come on!" Carter says and opens the cell. He walks in and grabs my wrists. He puts handcuff on them and takes my arm and leads me to where we are going.

I get leaded into a big room. I see a stone wall with straps on in. I look over to see what was in front of it and it looked like some sort of giant ray gun. Carter leads me to the stone wall with the straps on in. Other people surround me and boost me up to the straps on the wall. Carter uncuffs my hand cuffs and takes one of my wrists and straps it into of of the straps. He does the same to the other and then moves down to my ankles. The ray gun was pointed right at me. I hear the door to the room open and in comes in another guy with someone with him. My jaw drops when I saw who it was "TANA!" I yell. Tana looks at with with puffy red eyes "RAVEN!" She yells back. I felt a sigh of relief wash over me. They lead Tana to the other straps and did the same thing to her as they did to me. The ray gun was still pointed at me. "Say goodbye to your magic.." Carter says and turns on the ray. I turn my head to face Tana and mouth 'I'm sorry'. I turn my head back to face the ray. I take a deep breath and wait. The ray lights up and shoots out a red beam that hits my stomach. I feel a feeling of shock through my body. I scream in agony. I hear Tana crying. The ray stops and I felt like I was going to melt. The ray starts up again and I scream, but this time it was worse.
