Chapter 8: Shantal

"Cresent was cute but he wasn't my type, I like bad boys,like this Shiv they keep mentioning, he sounds pretty bad so I find him cute. But this Raven girl, she sounds perfect for Cresent, AH! Ship name time, hmmmm Crevan, perfect" I think about on our way to where ever we were going "So where are we going?" I ask Dakota "The Underworld" I stop my tracks causing Cre to bump into me "Wait what..." Dakota smirks at me "The Underworld child, you wanted to be apart of this didn't you" Cre rubs his head "Can you atlease tell me when you are going to stop walking, ouch..." I smile at him, a very awkward smile "Heh... sorry" I look back at Dakota "Well yea, but I didnt know that we were going into the underworld" I look at Dakota about to pout "Haha. well you can always go back from where you came from" Dakota smirks at me "What no.... I'm going to be apart of this quest if you like it or not" I snap at Dakota "Very well then, keep moving forward" Dakota says motioning her arm forward.

As we keep walking I see someone from the corner of my eye, I look over to see no one "Hmmmm" I say thinking out loud "What?" Cre asks from behind "Oh, um nothing" I quickly say "Ok..." he says back clearly concerned. I hear russling in the bushes, I could tell that Cre and Dakota heard it as well cause Cre had his sword out and Dakota had her bow and arrow out "Come out now, if you don't we will attack" Dakota says yelling at the bushes "Ok,Ok" Says a strange voice from the bushes. Out comes a very tall boy with brown hair, blue eyes, and normal clothes on "Shiv!" Dakota and Cre say at the same time. Cre runs up to him and puts his sword to Shivs neck "What did you do with Raven!" Cre  snaps at him "I just brought her to her dad, gods" Shiv says pushing the sword away from his neck "Wait so Raven is the Daughter of Hades" Dakota says next to me "She is the only child on the planet with her father being Hades, did her father break the rules or was Raven not from this century?" I stare at Dakota blankly "Wait so if Raven is from another century shouldn't she be dead?" I ask "What if Raven somehow came to the future without aging" Dakota says swinging her bow back over her shoulder "So does that mean I've had a crush on a dead girl..." Cre says putting his sword away "So its true you did have a crush on her!" Dakota says "Clearly, was it that hard to tell" Cre says, I could tell in his voice that he was little disappointed "Well-I-Um" Dakota was speechless, well thats a first. "When will you bring Raven back" I ask Shiv, so this is Shiv, he's attractive "I can't, Hades wants to take Raven back" Shiv says looking down "I mean I never wanted to do this in the first place but I had to, I can help you save her" Shiv says looking back up and starting at me. Ok so he wasn't a bad boy but he was incredibly cute, so he passes my test. "Yes!" Cre quickly says "Ok, calm down" Shiv says. I was afraid that Cre might blow up. "Ok, follow me" Shiv says and we follow him.

"Welcome to the Underworld" Shiv says "I feel welcomed" Dakota says from behind me "Yea me to" I say stareing at the surroundings "That is Hades Castle over there" Shiv says pointing at a gigantic building off in the distance "Wow thats big" Cre says next to me "How are we going to find her in there?" Shiv smirks "With alittle help from Persephone" Dakota looks at him "Isn't that Hades wife" She ask "Yep, remember the old myths, Persephone was forced to marry Hades, she never loved him" Shiv says "We should get going before we get spotted" Shiv says starting to walk down a very steep hill.

When we got into the castle we were awaited by Persephone "Welcome Demigods of Gods and Goddess, Roman and Gree-" Cre cuts her off "Yea, whatever just give us Raven" Persephone gives Cre the stink eye "You want me to help don't you" She snaps at Cre "Yea, but wouldn't it be-" Persephone cuts Cre off "SILENCE" Persephone shouts "Yes ma'am, yes ma'am" Cre says backing away from Persephone "Also here is the demigod you wanted" Persephone says bringing Raven from behind her "Yea um guys, nice to see you to but we should run" Raven says looking back "Or else we become hellhound dinner" So this is Raven, she's pretty and seems to be fierce but in times like this she seems, well, aggravated. "Yea, good choice of words" Shiv says from beside me "Lets go... NOW!" Shiv says and takes of running, we follow him close behind.

I heard barking from behind us "Um Shantal, might want to run... a lot faster!" Cre yells at me, I pick up  the pace, but then I did the wrong move turned to look to see how close the hellhounds were and tripped. "Help!" I yell, I see Raven turn around and run towards me "Run, I will be right there" she says as she helps me up "Go!" She snaps, I stand up and start to run.

As we got closer to the exit, I turn around again and I don't see Raven, but I see a hellhound running faster then the others coming towards us "Go through the portal now!" Shiv yells at us "But what about Raven!" I shout at him "Oh, she will make it" He says with a smirk against his face looking at the hellhound running towards us. Once the hellhound came to a stop in front of us, it morphed into Raven "I told you that I would be right behind you, now through the portal now!" she says as we all jump through the portal.
