Chapter 19: Tana

Once I saw Raven I felt a huge sigh of relief. But then they take me over to the wall with straps on. They strap me onto the wall. I see some sort of ray gun pointing at Raven. I knew that this wasn't going to end well. Raven turns her head towards me and mouths 'I'm sorry' and turns her head back around. What I saw next was the most painful thing on earth. Raven was zapped by the ray gun. I heard her scream in pain. I couldn't help it, but I cried, again. I hated seeing Raven in pain. The ray stops then starts back up again. She gets zapped again, but just from hearing Raven's screaming, it sounded like that one felt worse "Stop!" I yell but they don't seem to hear me, or they are ignoring me. The ray stops again. I look at Raven and see that she was covered in scratches and bruises "STOP!" I yell again "Don't hurt Raven, only me!" Raven stares at me in shock "Please.." I beg. The guy named Carter tapped his chin and said "Ahh... No" I wanted to hurt this guy so badly. They moved the ray towards me "STOP!" Raven yells "Tana doesn't have any magic power only I do!" My jaw drops. I completely forgot about that. I was a normal human being. But if I'm a normal human being then why am I here? I keep on questioning myself. "Wait.. What?" Carter says, Raven let's out a deep sigh and says once again "Tana doesn't have any magic in her system.." "Oh..." Carter says shocked "I guess we grabbed the wrong one men" "And women!" One added "Who were you trying to take?" I ask Carter "Umm, the one who goes by Crescent Moon.." I look over at Raven to see her hands balled up in a fist. I turn my head back and look at the ground. I just wanted all of this to be over, go back to our normal lives..
I look back at Raven, her hands were her normal hands again "Sense Tana doesn't have any magic power I expect you not to hurt her!" Raven snaps at Carter "Very well, but that will just make it worse for you," Carter says moving the ray back towards Raven. The ray starts back up again. But then something weird happens, the door to the room opens. I look at the door, Carter wasn't paying attention to it. The ray hits Raven again, and once again she screams in agony. "RAVEN!" Someone yells.. Wait.. Was.. That.. No.. It can't be.. Crescent, Shiv, Shantal,and Kat barge through the doors and start picking fights with the enemy. Shiv bursts into a giant ball of flame.. Very deadly may I add. Shantal uses her bow skills and shoots every enemy in sight.. Jesus.. Kat uses her water powers and whatever water was near her she used to was the enemy's away, and Crescent used his great sword ability to use against the enemy. I look over at Raven who was still being shocked by the ray gun. And still screaming. Crescent knocks out one of his opponents and runs towards Carter. Hits Carter in the back with the butt of his sword, causing Carter to collapse. Crescent shuts off the machine and runs over to Raven and I. The others run over to help unstrap me and then they move onto Raven. "Be careful guys.." Crescents says as he unstraps Ravens wrist. She gets lowered down slowly and collapses onto the ground. Shiv and I help her up to her feet "Now let's get out of here before anyone else comes" Crescent says "Don't jinx us lover boy" Shantal says from behind "SHUTUP!" Crescent yells at her. I couldn't help but laugh. I put one of Ravens arms around my shoulder "Don't Tana, I can walk" Raven says pulling her arm away "You sure?" I ask "Yea, I'm fine" she says and starts walking "Now let's just ge-" Raven try's to say but she trips over something causing her to fall onto Crescent. "Ouch," Crescent mumbles "Heh..sorry" Raven says red to the face. She gets up and helps up Crescent. We keep on walking to try to get out of the place with out trying to be spotted. We find the exit and run out. We kept on running until we made it back to base "Now let's get moving!" I say "We don't want anyone else knowing that we are gone and they try to go looking for us again!"  Everyone nods in agreement. "Let's go guys," Shiv says and starts walking. We all follow. Atlease we have finally ended the day on a peaceful note.. Well.. Hopefully..
