"I...i....killed his sister " I said.
Flash back
3 years ago
I was at Jacobs house watching his little sister. We were on the couch watching TV. I was on my phone texting my manager about the offer I got to play in a new Disney movie.
" can I get something to eat, please? " Jacob little sister Ashley asked.
Ashley was 6 years old. She was the mini girl version of Jacob.
" yeah, hold on" I said not really paying any attention to her.
20 minutes pass and I'm still on my phone. I totally forgot about Ashley and giving her something to eat. I hear a huge crash in the kitchen. I get up and run to see what that is.
When I get to the kitchen, Ashley is there with a bunch of Cheerios surrounding her feet on the ground.
"what the hell!" I yelled.
" sorry.... I was really hungry" Ashley said.
I walked over to her and pushed her. She fell back and hit the back of her head on the counter.
" get up brat " I said.
I turned around and started to clean the mess she made. When I finished cleaning up the cereal Ashley was still lying on the floor.
" get up Ashley " I said.
She didn't move. I bend down to her and shook her shoulder. Still no movement. I lifted her head up and the whole back of her head was bleeding.
" Ashley wake-up "I said.
She didn't move or say anything. I started to panic.
" please, I'm so sorry wake-up" I said starting to cry.
I placed Ashley back down on the floor. I ran back to the living room and picked up my phone. My hand was covered in blood. I tried to dial 911 but my fingers kept slipping.
The front door opens up and Jacob comes inside. I run over to him.
"help me please" I said crying and panicking. I was pulling on his shirt.
" is that blood, what's going on" he said.
" Ashley, she's hurt "I said.
"WHAT WHERE IS SHE!" Jacob yelled.
" in the kitchen, I'm so sorry " I said.
