"Evie! I need your help!" the girl appeared next to me again.
"Who are you?" I shouted as the girl slowly faded away. I was floating in the darkness and panic was overwhelming me.
Suddenly everything started being blurry, and I appeared in a completely new place.
"No..." another girl whispered, but didn't get a chance to finish the sentence. She had black hair and purple eyes, and was so similar looking to the first mysterious girl and myself.
The first girl showed up again, leaving me in the darkness, but surrounded by the stars this time.
"Please. Come!" she shouted.
"Where can I find you?" she seemed so desperate, I knew that I needed to help her somehow.
She opened her mouth to say something, but everything started to crumble down. My surrounding was shaking and the girl disappeared.
"Evie!" I heard a voice, but it was very close now."Evie, wake up!" I recognised that Amber is shaking me. I opened my eyes.
"What happened?" I asked and sat up in my bed, still affected by the strange dream.
"We're kinda late. We couldn't wake you up." Keiko explained.
"Let's hurry up then!" I stood up, quickly grabbing some clothes from my closet and throwing them on. Taking my bag, I motioned to my roommates to go.The morning classes passed, but I couldn't get that dream out of my head. I needed to find out who are those girls as soon as possible. Maybe I should tell everything to Amber and Keiko. No, not yet. I need to find out more details.
"I have an awful headache. I'll go to the room to rest a bit." I whispered to Amber during the lunch.
"Do you want me to go with you?" she asked, worried.
"No, it's okay, I'll take a nap or something." I lied and greeted everybody. This is my only chance to be alone for a bit.
As I crossed the main corridor, I quickly hurried upstairs to the classrooms. I needed to find that computer room and get the information.
"Do you need help?" I heard a familiar voice behind me.
"Oh, Dustin, you scared me." I said and he chuckled. "Do you know where the computer room is?
"I got you." he winked playfully and I raised an eyebrow. He motioned me to follow him. A few lefts and rights, and we were in front of the room I was searching for.
"So, do you want to tell me why you need to go to the computer room?" he asked. I was hesitating if I should tell him about the dream. He casually leaned his arm on the wall behind me and I could feel his breath on my cheek which extremely distracted me. He was wearing a green t-shirt and jeans. And he looked good. As always.
"To use a computer." I made a bad attempt to joke, deciding not to tell him anything.
"Funny." he snorted and I stuck out my tongue at him.
"See ya later." he winked and started walking away. That must be his symbol or something, I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help but smile at the same time.I opened the door of the computer room, quietly stepping in. Nobody was there, I realised with relief. I don't want anyone to see that dream, it just feels too personal. The room was huge and had quite a lot of computers. I sat by the one in the corner.
Place your pendant, was written on the screen. I took a deep sigh and took of my necklace. Loud beep surprised me when I placed the pendant on the special slot next to the computer. Seconds later, little stars showed on the screen with dates underneath them. My dreams. But aside from around ten stars, there were also two moons. Weird. I clicked on the first moon and it opened a video. It lasted just two seconds and there wasn't anything beside darkness and strange noises that didn't make sense on it. I sighed. That was supposed to be the first dream since I came to this school, the one with that girl in it. Even though, the girl was nowhere to be seen. I decided to try my luck with the next one. This one wasn't even a video, it was a picture. There was something written on it, but the whole message was pale and I could barely recognise any words, like the printer was running low on ink. I massaged my forehead, I was slowly getting an awful headache. For real this time. In the end I decided that I would just wait for the next dream to solve this mystery. That's the best solution for now. I took my pendant and that action shut the computer down immediately.
"Evie! We were looking for you? Where have you been?" Keiko exclaimed when I returned to our room.
"I'm sorry, I just went to get some fresh air." I lied. I couldn't even explain to myself why I didn't want to tell them the truth.
"Okay then, just leave us a note or something next time." Amber hugged me and I nodded, but my mind was busy thinking about that weird dream.I woke up a bit earlier than usual which was a strange thing for me. Seconds later it hit me that I didn't dream anything this night or just can't remember it. It was an awful feeling, like I didn't get any sleep at all. I took a deep breath, trying to calm down. It's not a big deal, right, I thought but my stomach still made a twist. I stood up, changing into some casual clothes because it was my turn to bring breakfast.
After normal boring classes we went to lunch. Keiko, Amber and I joined to a table where Max and Toby were already eating.
"Hello." I greeted them as I put my tray on their table. Amber looked up at me and smiled.
"Hi." Toby and Max greeted us back. We took our places and started chatting.
"Look at this." she whispered to me.
"Toby, can you please bring me some water?" she asked her brother.
"Fine." he agreed. When he was far from the table, she took out a little bottle from her bag and poured a drop of the shiny green liquid into his glass.
"What are you..." Max started protesting but Amber put a finger over her mouth, showing him to stop talking.
"Here I am." Toby returned and gave her a glass of water. He took a sip of his drink and in next second he got moustache and beard. I couldn't believe my eyes. Toby's eyes widened in disbelief. We were all laughing our heads of, his reaction was hilarious.
"I like Potion class, what can I say?" Amber admitted with a wink. I remembered when Dustin told me that most of people call it a Potion class. Where is Dustin by the way? I haven't seen him anywhere. I looked around the room, but he I couldn't find him.
"He always used to draw me a moustache with a marker when I was sleeping at home, so this is a revenge." Amber interrupted my thoughts. I snorted. They were so funny.
