Awaken

I had just awoken when I heard " Who is she?" I heard a gruff old sounding voice ask. " I do not know sir." A second voice said. After that I opened my eyes looking at the sealing, disappointed at seeing nothing but black. "Hello? Can someone turn on the lights? Why stand in the dark?" My voice surprised myself because of how light it sounded, like bells because I haven't heard my voice in a long time. " Go get the head nurse." the gruff old sounding voice said." Yes sir." The other guy replied. It then clicked in my mind that the lights were on, i noticed the heat coming from the lights. " The lights are on aren't they?" I asked timidly, scared of what the truth would be. " Yes they are child." the old man responded, he sounded sad, for me, which confused me. " Oh." I then settled down onto the bed. I then sensed two people coming to a stop in front of the door. " Hello, I need you to look at..." he then paused and i sensed his eyes on me so i said "Aleda, Aleda Darkon." I filled in for the old man. " Yes sir, but if i may add in i thought nothing was wrong with her?" she asked while she walked toward me i felt scared that it was just a ploy from HIM again. So i stared to get scared, i then started to hyperventilate, sensing a window next to me i panicked and jumped out.

I heard them scream 'stop' when i jumped. I felt the wind in my face and didn't sense the ground, I thought 'Crap it was like the top floor!' I then let my instincts take over and let my wings spread out and started to hover over the ground. On the way down I heard screams of fear while I was falling. When i started to hover i heard a gasp in front of me, it was a boy with a pup in his hood. " Hello." i said quietly. He replied" H-h-h hello." He whispered back to me. I then felt nurses coming towards us. I guess the adrenalin rush was to much for me because i dropped to the ground. The boy caught me and l kneeled on the ground so i wasn't laying in the dirt. " are you okay?" He asked me worriedly so i looked at him where i thought his eyes were and put a small smile on my face, " I guess that was a little to much for my body to handle, but can you do me a favor?" I asked him " Uhh sure?" He replied. "Don't let my wings get dirty, oh yeah and don't scream." I could feel the confusion right after I said that, then everything went quiet.

(The Boys POV)

I was walking with Akamarru when i heard people scream so i ran to where I heard the scream, what i saw wasn't what i thought i would ever think to see, a girl falling from the top floor of the hospital, she looked like an angel. Then she stopped struggling and started to hover right in front of me. she was at eye level with me. I gasped. she then quietly said "hello." i stuttered and said hello back, startled by her voice. She sounded angelic. She then started to fall so i caught her and let her kneel. I asked her if she was okay and she just looked at my nose and smiled at it, i thought it was weird until I saw that her electric purple eyes were clouded over, she then gave me a small smile and said that it was probably too much for her body to handle. When she asked me for a favor i complied and said sure. "Don't let my wings get dirty and don't scream." I knew i was radiating confusion until she fell limp into my arm. That was when the nurses came over and said "Hello Kiba, will you please bring her to her room for us so we can check if she strained her body too much." so i picked her up, minding not to get her wings dirty, and carried her up to her room. I stayed by the window in case she tried to jump again. They ended up getting me into a chair so i sat beside her bed, my back facing the window. Me and Akamarru listened to the sound of the monitor beeping, a little irregularly if i may say so myself. The beeps were slowing and quickening while she was asleep. her face peaceful when the noise was slow but contorted in fear and pain when they went fast. Somehow i ended up falling asleep in the chair, my head on her bed right next to her delicate looking hand, listening to the irregular beat of the angels heart.
