An Angel In Darkness

The Mission

I felt the sun rise and waited for Kaka to wake up, and when he did we got ready, we went to the KIA stone he stared at the same place for about two hours until I told Kaka that should head to the meeting spot while I followed behind him, half guiding. When we got to the Hokage Tower we got a mission to get a cat named Tora. I loved animals so this perked up my happiness level. I knew that the Hokage and Kaka set this up because i have been down lately. That how we got to this situation. "Kakashi point A, Skaura point B, Sasukae point C,... Oh! Naruto point D, believe it!, Aleda point double A." We all then stated our positions and then Kaka gave the signal. Naruto got the cat first and it started to scratch him but I walked over to her, she claimed down and looked at me with curiosity. "Hello Tora, is it okay if I carry you?" I asked her. "No! I don't want to go back to that evil woman! Please?" She begged us. "How about this ill make sure she wont squish you?" I asked her. "Well... okay but I WILL run away again if she dose" and I cut her off "And I will personally come and get you and dye you blue and give you to a friend of mine okay?" I told her. "Okay then." She then jumped into my arms and we brought her to her owner. "MY SWEET TORA I MISSED YOU!" She tried to grab her cat but I stopped her "IM sorry miss but she got a little tangled up in the woods and hurt her leg so you have to be very very very carful with her, her bone will be more fragile so you still got to be careful, okay?" I told her as sweet as I could "Oh okay, I'm sorry tora." She took her cat gently and left. After they left Gramps started to tell us missions until Naruto interrupted. After an argument with Iruka Gramps started to lecture Naruto, while Gramps started to talk Naruto started to talk about ramen while I spaced out. I was just in my own little world until a person came inside of the room blaming the door really hard and sudden so it hurt my ears "Ah! WHY DOSE EVERYONE SLAM DOORS?!" I yelled a rhetorical question. "What is the, a bunch of snot nosed kids? Can they really protect me? Especially the short one with the stupid face." He said, we then lined up. 'Umm, so who's the tallest?" I asked because I couldn't, you know? see. "Oh! It was Kakashi-sensi then sasukae then me and then nature and finally you.' Sakura explained to me. "Oh, thank you." I guess the guy finally saw me and gasped "Oh my kami! Its an angel!" He said. "Correction, I'm technically not an Angel, Angels are in heaven with Kami, not on earth. Also I don't think Angels are blind." I told him "But, people call me an angel in darkness, i guess." I told him. He was in shock, and then I smelt sake. "Wait, dose someone have sake in the room?" I asked a little worriedly. "Yeah, I do? Whats up, why do you look so pale?" He asked me, I then ran out of the room outside towards a tree and started to puke. I guess kaka fallowed me, he held my long hair back. I started to heave dry because I don't really eat much. This lasted about five minutes until I finally was done. "You okay now?" he asked me. " The smell of sake and any other alcoholic beverage makes me puke, like a lot.' I told him while wiping my mouth. "So please keep the stuff I just listed away from my nose." i asked him. we then walked back into the building while everyone was getting the information on the mission I stayed outside until they came back. I covered my nose before the other person came with them. "Lets go, ill help you pack." Kaka teleported to our house and we got all our stuff and we teleported about ten minutes late." Sorry I forgot about aledas wings and she got stuck. "LIER!" I 'yelled'.

(When she yelled is like loudly talking b/c she talks like under a whisper but the wind carries her voice) "Hahah, well lets get this mission started.' Kaka said rubbing the back of his head. "YEAH, BELIVE IT!" Naruto yelled, i knew this was coming so I covered my ears. "Why are you so excited, Naruto?' Sakura asked. "Its my first time out of the village." He said. "How about you Aleda?" Naruto asked me 'Well, thats complicated. I I think i have been out side the village, or maybe under it? I don't really know because i was in one...room..." I didn't want to say cell and them worry. I faded off and started to think about it, I stopped, then it all started. I started to hyperventilate and I fell down, memories rushing back to me. The needles,experiments. "Oh no." I heard sakura say under her breath worried. I heard the bridge builder asked Sakura what was happening to me. Then Kaka came up to me worried and started to rock me before I started to scream. I started to say the words he always said to me "Nihil consideret et plerumque solus" I repeated it a few more times before I started to calm my breathing, still shaking. When i calmed down I stood up and we started to walk, but a little slower for me. "what was that back there, what you were saying?' Kaka asked me. 'Something HE told me every day." I said. "It means "Nothing and Alone." I said. "It is in Latin." we then walked in silence until I fell and slipped on a puddle. "Gah!" I yelled when I fell. "Sorry, I guess I was a little distracted because of the puddle." I said to him, saying puddle differently so that he alone would understand. "I guess your a little weak from... earlier." He said. We continued to walk until two people came out and 'killed' Kaka. I pretended to be frozen. They went after me first. when they got close enough I attacked them, they fought hard and scratched my back. Their claws went a little deep into my back in between my wings, just enough to need to be bandaged for a day. Then kaka came out and tied them down. "Aleda! Don't move okay, we got to get the poison out of your back, you to Naruto." I felt dizzy. "Kaka, I feel dizzy." I said before i fell onto my stomach. "Alea! Okay your okay its because of blood loss." Kaka ran over and checked me. He then paused and I felt everyone looking at my back. "Your back, where did all of these come from?" Kaka whispered, but loud enough for everyone to hear. "experiments, needless, tubes, test fights, and HIM." I said. I then was picked up and I passed out from exhaustion. When I woke up I was in a bed, in a little cabin. I heard creatures not to far away, and two people. One was in his, I'm guessing, 25-30's. The other one was closer to my age, he was beside my bed. "Hello?" I said. "Hello, my name is Haku, what is yours?' He asked me. "well I will tell you after you tell me why in the world you sound more like a girl than a boy?" I asked him. "How?" He asked me "Well you carry yourself like a boy, but you sound like a girl." I told him. "But, what about the way I look?" He asked me. I turned to him so he could nee my clouded eyes. 'Well, that would be hard if your blind." I told him. I sensed him rub the back of his head in embarrassment. "Sorry." I smiled and said "Its okay." It then hit methat none of team 7's sent were around us. "Where are me team?" I asked worriedly. He was silent, then another person came into the room. "I guess she's awake, you will work with us if you want to or not, got it?" he said in a stern voice. "Wh-where are me team?" I asked again. "Your not going back to your team." He said to me, the snip in his voise getting to me. thinking that I would never get to see anyone again, I started to hyperventilate. "Hey whats wrong?" Haku asked me. " N-no, You are forever nihil consideret et plerumque solus." I started to say, repeating it. Then I started to hear him again. "Itss over, I'm coming to get you. You cant run forever little angel." I thought I heard him whisper into my ear. I started to scream, curled into a bawl. "Shes having a panic attack, we cant stop it, we have to wait this out.' i heard Haku tell the man beside him. It then got worse, I felt the needles in my arms again. The blood going down my arms. 'why is she bleeding?!" The man said. "I don't know Zabuza." Haku said to the man. I then jumped up and ran when I felt the scaly skin that i would never forget. "Let her go Haku, we will get her when we get to the bridge, plus she's blind, she wont get far." At the time I didn't care, i was to busy running hitting where I felt his fingers trail on my skin. It was an hour later when I saw him in the darkness in my sight. I ran around him screaming. I ran into someone and fell, bawling my eyes out screaming and curling into a ball. "Aleda!" I heard four voices yell. I didn't care at the time, until I felt the hands go away and be replaced by soft hands that were all to calming and safe feeling to me.The voice calmed and he disappeared. "Aleda, its kakashi, its going to be okay but we gotta take you to the house okay?" I heard him say, I just nodded, crying silent tears. He picked me up and carried me to this house he talked about, I fell asleep. The next time I woke up I was being carried by Kakashi. "where are we?" I asked him. "On our way back to Kohna, you have been asleep for two weeks." He informed me on the fight after setting me down, I walked beside him.When we arrived beside the gates we split up, Kaka went to repot our mission.
