Chapter 14: Disneyland Birthday Gone Wrong

8 Months Later
Kian's POV
Today is the boys' 3rd birthday and I'm excited.  We're going to Disneyland with Jc, JJ, Jess, Emily, Luke, Chris, Aaden, Ashley, Brandon, Bri, Nate, and Aubrey. We had a birthday party with all our YouTube friends last week.
Jess is 9 months old and the cutest baby ever. She's crawling all over the place now. I've never seen JJ so happy since he found Jess.
So Chris and JJ and Emily and Jc are dating. I hooked them up and they all seem super happy.
The boys are doing great.
Justin has taken an interest in Baseball,  James has taken an interest in Football, Jesse has taken an interest in Basketball, and Johnny has taken an interest in Soccer. I promised them they could do sports when they were old enough.
They've grown a lot. James and Jesse are the tallest, Justin and Johnny are the shortest. They talk a lot more, but all with an adorable little lisp. They've gotten so big...
I'm still single, but I've been keeping my options open. Right now, my main focus is my boys.
The Next Morning
I woke up extra early and took a shower. I changed into a grey Mickey Mouse tank top, blacl jeans, and black Converse. I did my hair and brushed my teeth.
I went downstairs and started making the boys' favorite breakfast, pancakes with bananas and strawberries, egg, and bacon.
After a while, James came jumping down the stairs, being his usual energetic self.
"There's the birthday boy!" I said with a big smile.
He giggled and ran to me.
"Ughhh.....happy birthday James. I love you so much." I said, picking him up.
"I wove you too Daddy!" He said with a smile and kissed me cheek.
"Alright, go watch Spongebob until your brothers wake up." I saif.
He nodded and dashed onto the couch.
By 8:30, everyone was downstairs. JJ was feeding Jess, Jc and the boys were eating, and I was getting a bag ready.
It had money, clothes, snacks, their pacifers (gotta start taking them away soon), and their baby blankets. It was gonna get cold later tonight.
Once I was finished, Jc and I gave the boys a bath. We changed them into theur Disney clothes (the outfits in the picture), which they looked adorable.
"Daddy, when is Aubwey comin?" Jesse asked excitedly,  jumping up and down.
"Soon bud." I said, laughing.
I did their hair and they brushed their teeth.
When everyone was ready, we went downstairs and waited for everyone.
As usual, Emily and Luke were the first ones here.
"Hey babe." Jc said.
"Hey baby." She said and they kissed.
"Ewwwww!!!" The boys said.
We all laughed.
Then Nate and Audrey came. Jesse ran to her and gave her a giant hug. Audrey quickly pecked his check.
"They are too cute!" Emily said.
"Watch it Lawley." Nate said playfully.
Everyone laughed again.
Then, Chris and Aaden came. Her and JJ kissed, but I think Jess was more excited to see Chris than him.
She kept giggling, kicking her feet, and making grabby hands at Chris from her playpen. She laughed and picked her up, setting her on her hip.
Finally, Brandon, Ashley, and Bri came. Johnny engulfed Bri in a hug and she, like Aubrey, kissed his cheek.
"Happy birtday." She said with a smile.
Johnny blushed like crazy. They're too cute.
"Alrighty people, let's go!" I said.
Everyone laughed and headed out the door.
In my car was myself, JJ, Jess, Chris, Aaden, and Justin. In Emily's car was her, Jc, Luke, and James. In Brandon and Ashely's car was them, Bri, and Johnny. In Nate's car was him, Audrey, and Jesse.
Once everyone was in the car, we were off to Disneyland.
2 Hours Later
We finally got to Disneyland and parked. Once everyone was in their strollers, we got on the tram. Once we were at the actual park, we paid and got in.
"Daddy! Daddy! Wook! It's Goofy!!" Johnny said, super excited.
He was pointed over to someone in a Goofy costume with people lined up to take pictures.
We got in line and took pictures. We walked around and went on a few rides. The kids were having a lot of fun.
At around 1, we got some food and sat down.
"Daddy?" Justin asked.
"Yeah bud?" I said, swallowing a bite of my burger.
"W-where's our Mommy...." he asked.
Everyone froze. The boys had never asked a question like that. They asked if they had a Mom when I first adopted them, but not where she was, like they knew she was somewhere.
James, Jesse, and Johnny looked at me.
"I uh...I don't know buddy...But don't worry. You'll have a new Mommy someday." I said.
He nodded, but it looked like it still bugged him.
Changing the subject, I suggested we go to Toon Town so the kids can see all the characters.
We all agreed and threw away our trash. After Toon Town, Justin looked like he forgot about everything. I was glad. He shouldn't be sad on his birthday.
We went on a few more rides and watched the parade.
"Daddy, I wanna go on dat!" Jesse said, pointing to Space Mountain.
"I dunno buddy. You might not be big enough." I said.
"Pwease!" He said, pouting his lip.
I sighed, and agreed. Nate, Brandon, Bri, and Jc came with us. Everyone else wanted to stay back.
We got in line and eventually made it to the front. Surprisingly, they let Jesse and Bri on.
We went on the ride and the kids loved it. We met back up with the others and walked around.
When it got dark, we watched the fireworks. When they were over, we started walking back to the car.
As I unbuckled Justin out of the stroller, I saw him looking at a family, and the mom was making the little boy laugh. He looked at me, then at the floor.
"I'm sorry buddy..." I said.
I put him in his seat and we all got in the car.
As I was driving, I kept glancing back at Justin. He was looking out the window, looking really upset. I sighed. I wish they did have a mom.
I snapped out of my thoughts when a bright light flashed in front of me.
"Kian look out!" Chris yelled.
I swerved into the car, making the car flip back. Glass shattered and everything went black...
