Chapter 30: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Kian's POV
Erica and I invited everyone over for dinner so we could tell everyone about the baby. We're so excited and can't wait to break the news.
We went out and bought a bunch of food for dinner and went home. Addy was with Nikki and I'm guessing Johnny was with Bri. Oh well.
We started cooking as the kids came home. I noticed Bri and Johnny looked really stressed and upset.
"Hey, something wrong?" I asked.
"Um..." They looked at each other nervously.
My eyebrow raised in suspicion.
"We'll tell you at dinner." Johnny said and they quickly rushed upstairs.
Yup, something is definitely up. Guess we'll find out...
At around 5, everyone showed up and sat down to eat. About halfway through eating, I looked at Erica and she nodded. I smiled and we stood up.
"Guys, we have an announcement." I said.
They got quiet and looked at us.
"We're pregnant." Erica lightly laughed, a tear coming into her eye.
Everyone freaked out, well, happy freak out. They started hugging us and asking questions.
"I'm gonna be a big sister!!!!" Addy screamed, running around.
I smiled and looked at Johnny and Bri, who were sitting down and staring at the floor.
"Hey, seriously, what's wrong you guys?" I asked.
Everyone got quiet and all attention was on them. They looked at each other and nodded.
"Bri...She's pregnant too...With...Triplets..." He said.
Everyone was absolutely silent and in shock. Brandon was giving Johnny the death glare.
"You knocked up my baby girl?!" He screamed, getting closer to Johnny.
He gulped as he stood up.
"Y-yes...You guys were out of town...It just happened...Bri thought she was on birth control, but she was taking the wrongs pills..." Johnny said.
"I trusted you two!" He said, looking at Bri who was now sobbing.
I was still processing everything...Johnny...He got Bri pregnant?? WITH TRIPLETS!!??
"Look, I know we're extremely young. But I will do everything and anything to take care of Bri and our babies. I know I disappointed you guys and I know I lost your trust, but I will take care of these babies no matter what." Johnny said.
"C'mon guys. We were all in his position. Having kids before we were even 20..." Emily said, looking at Nate, Brandon, Ashley and Chris.
"We weren't ready for all of it. But we got through it. And it's our job as parents to make sure we don't let our kids struggle as much as we did. Yes, they made a mistake, but they also made 3 little blessings that will be here in 7 months." Chris said.
I nodded in agreement. I would never abandon my son or my grandkids. We all looked at Brandon and Ashley. Ashley walked to Bri and hugged her, putting her hand on Bri's stomach.
"I can't wait to meet my grandbabies." She smiled.
"Daddy?" Bri said, looking at Brandon.
He sighed and smiled.
"You better protect my grandkids with everything you have." He said, looking at Johnny.
He smiled and nodded.
"Of course, I'd give my life for them without thought." He said.
We all cheered and talked about the babies.
Looks like 4 little Lawley's will be joining us...
