That's a picture of Jess and the outfit she's wearing^^

As I'm rushing around getting ready for our date, the doorbell rings. I throw on my heels and run to the front door. I trip many times in the process. I open the door and Archer is standing there in khakis and a button up. He looks hot as hell. I've only seen him in flannels and hoodies , and I am not complaining about that either, but this is just... Wow.
"You look gorgeous," he says awkwardly.
"You... Uh... Wow," I stutter. He takes in my short white shorts, long black shirt, and black heeled boots. He looks back up at my eyes and grabs my hand. He walks me out to his truck and helps me in. Once he gets in, he hands me his aux cord.
"Well now I know you really like me," I say to him.
"What do you mean," he asks with a sideways glance as he pulls out into the road.
"No one just gives up the aux cord," I say plugging it in and pulling up Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift.
"Haha very funny," he says with a nudge. "I do," he says a few moments later.
"You do what," I ask curiously.
"Really like you," he says pulling up to Pierro's, a small Italian restaurant down town. There are strings of lights in the trees on the street as we walk up and it is beautiful.
"Me too," I whisper and grab his hand.

After dinner, we walk up and down the street for a while. We find a cute little antique shop and go inside. "Jess, come look at this lamp," he says pointing to the top of a shelf. The lamp has a hot pink shade, and the actual lamp part is shaped like a naked lady. It is the weirdest thing I've ever seen. I burst out laughing and the old woman who owns the store has to come quiet me down.
"Well she's rude," says archer with a glare.
"Oh well," I say grabbing his hand and heading towards the door.
"Wait, I wanna buy the lamp," he says taking it down and walking to the counter.
"What!? You can't buy that, dork," I tell him in a high pitched voice.
"Well I'm going to," he sighs.
"Whatever," I say shaking my head with a giggle.

We leave the store and one of Archers hands occupies the lamp. The other one is on mine. We ride back to my house in a comfortable silence. He takes the aux cord this time and plays Greenday the whole time, which I'm completely fine with. We pull into my driveway and we both get out of the truck. When he meets me in the sidewalk, he frowns. "What's wrong," I ask.
"Well, I was going to open your door for you," he says looking at his feet.
"That's adorable," I say. We walk through my front yard and onto my porch.
"I had a lot of fun," he says looking down at me.
"I had fun too," I reply. "Goodnight," I say closing the door behind me.

I take off my heels, revealing blisters all over my feet. I run up the stairs to my room and collapse onto my short bed. Wow. He's great. The way he looks at me makes my stomach explode into a million butterflies. When he says my name it brings a smile to my face. When he walks into a room it brightens my mood. He's perfect. He's sweet, kind, a gentleman, funny, not preppy and stuck up, he plays guitar, he's smart, and he's hot. What more could a girl ask for? I really hope something good comes out of this. I really like him, but I would hate to lose him as a friend.

I take off my clothes and throw them into my hamper. I take a nice hot shower and remove all the makeup I put on for the date. I pull in my comfiest shirt and pair of underwear and crawl under my covers. I never sleep with pants on. My motto is "pants are for chumps".  I go to sleep with a smile on my face and hopes of dreams about Archer.
