Luke had English last the next day too, and they were told they couldn't do any work inside school time. He face palmed, how on earth was he going to meet michael? He didn't want to hurt Michael anymore.

Michael hurt him too.

Before he knew it he had tears in his eyes, something he'd never done before when there was people around. He felt Ashton nudge him slightly with a confused look.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

Luke couldn't take it, he felt Michaels eyes burning Into the side of his head as he ran out, ignoring the teachers calls.

He ran for a bit until he was outside and dropped to the floor next to a wall, sobbing into his hands.

"Luke." Ashton panted. "What is it?"

"I can't do this Ash." He whimpered. "I can't face Michael."

Ashton knew it all. Ashton and Calum were the only ones who knew the whole thing, others just assumed things which was why Luke classed Ashton as his only true friend.

"I left him, I hurt him. But he scared me. I couldn't do it, I couldn't stay with him in case I wasn't there to save him next time."

"It's ok-"

"I'm not!" Luke screamed in anger. "I always say I am. I came back to school and everyone said 'are you alright?' And I said yes. I acted like I didn't just leave my suicidal boyfriend because I was scared. Well I'm not okay. I'm not."

He couldn't speak anymore through tears as Ashton dropped to the ground, pulling him into a side hug.

"Michael would understand you know..." He said. "You still love each other."

"No." Luke hiccuped and wiped his eyes. "Michaels got the most beautiful heart of anyone but he would never understand."

"I guess we'll see." He said sadly.

He wouldn't ever let michael see how upset he was. He was determined not to.
