Luke was sat in English the next day. He didn't feel Michaels stare this time and he slumped in his seat.
His teacher explained how 25% of their final grade would be on a poetry assessment, people would be in pre chosen groups of two.
He shot a look to Ashton of sadness, knowing the teacher would never put them together because they were a nightmare all the time.
She read out pairs of names from the list she was holding and when she read Luke's pair he felt sick.
"Luke and Michael."
No one else really paid attention apart from Calum, Michael, Ashton and Luke.
Luke felt his breathing get heavier. As the bell went he stormed out, slamming the door behind him to go calm down.
He didn't want to see Michael. Michael needed to forget. He deserved better.
