Living Color

16. Conflict*

**This chapter will not include any deathly situations or death for that matter. It is more plot oriented, though there's a little brawl at the end haha. Also, when a chapter title has the star know that it will be plot oriented

"I don't wanna fucking talk about it!!" Amber screams as she pushes her plate of food off the table. Everyone around the table, including other students on the patio, stare at Amber in disbelief.

Amber wipes away some sweat from her forehead as she takes a few steps back from the circular table. Brian stands up and walks to her to try and comfort her.

"Stop. Don't touch me." Amber cries out as she puts her hands up to keep him at arms length away. Brian moves her arms away and embraces Amber in a tight hug. Gary squeezes  David's hand tight as he watches Amber and Brian hugging.

Akira folds her arms as she keeps to herself, as does Ebonne.

"Did they say what was gonna happen to her?" Gary softly asks to keep Amber from hearing.

Ebonne nods her head, "They took that crazy ass white girl to an Asylum, where she belongs."

"Eb." Amber calls out her name. Ebonne lets out a sigh as she shakes her head.

"I'm sorry...I mean Sarah. She's gone." Ebonne reiterates as she begins messing with the french fries on her plate.

Emanuel and Jason walk out of the cafeteria, he immediately notices Gary and David holding hands. He looks away from them and sees Amber crying on Brian's shoulder.

"We should give them some space, I think they been pestered with enough already about all this. I know I have." Jason says as he tugs on Emanuel's sleeve, he nods his head and follows Jason back into the cafeteria.

Gary glances back at the door and sees Emanuel already disappearing past the door.

Brian grabs Amber's face and looks her in the eyes, "It's gonna be okay. Your safe now. All three of you are."

"It's my fault Brian, if I hadn't given her the drinks she would of been fine." Amber cries out as she shakes her head, tearing herself apart.

"You didn't know, none of us knew what she was going though. If anyone should of known, it shoulda been me. I was dating her." Brian says in a soothing tone, to help calm her down. Amber sniffles as she wipes away the tears streaming down her face.

"Can we leave, please? I don't wanna be here right now." Amber asks as she looks up at Brian, he nods his head. Brian and Amber walk back to the others, "We're gonna head home. Today's been too crazy for her." Brian says as he waves goodbye to everyone, they do so as well.

Amber waves at them and leaves behind Brian.

"I feel sick...I still can't believe Sarah did this." Gary softly mumbles in disbelief.

"You better believe it Gary, she sent us all to the damn hospital. If it wasn't for Jason pushing her over the roof, we probably would've been killed." Ebonne says as she shakes her head. Akira nods her head, she presses her hand against her stomach and winces in pain.

"Still hurts?" David asks when he sees her wince. Akira nods her head as she grabs a frozen ice pack and places it on her stomach.

"You want me to check it out?" David asks as he stands up, Akira nods her head. David helps Akira lift up her shirt a little to reveal her tummy.

Gary's eyes widen when he sees a large white bloodied bandage across her stomach. "We need to get that switched now. Let's go to the nurse." David says as he lowers her shirt, Akira nods her head and follows David.
