"I'm so sick of it. I hate that you put me through this. You know it pisses me off when you accuse me of cheating!" Emanuel yells as he points to himself. Jason shakes his head as he crosses his arms.
"Once a cheater, always a cheater." Jason softly says as he takes a step back.
"I've never cheated before!"
Jason begins to laugh, "What about us? You and I hooked up while you were dating Gary."
Emanuel stays quiet, he leans back against the brick wall. Jason walks off and heads inside the house, through the back door. He hears Jason telling someone that he was leaving.
Jason drives off, leaving some tire marks on the road as he speeds away.
Emanuel's mother, Maria, steps outside and stands in front of Emanuel.
"What?"
Maria stares at him, with her hands on her hips, shaking her head. "I've kept my mouth closed about this situation and I've had enough of it. You are gonna tell me what the hell you did. I overheard what Jason said. You lied to me. You told me that Gary cheated on you." Maria practically yells at Emanuel.
"Why do you even care, mom?" Emanuel asks as he tries to walk away from her, she quickly grabs his arm to keep him from going inside.
"I hated Gary, I was so upset with him to where I even wished him death for hurting you. I did that! I did that to an innocent boy because you lied to me." Maria says as she begins to get teary-eyed. Emanuel keeps a straight face, trying to keep from showing any emotion.
"I'm so disappointed in you, Emanuel." Maria says before walking back inside, leaving Emanuel standing there in the cold.
A single tear slides down the side of his face.
Jason pulls up to a house and sees a yellow jeep and a few other cars parked in the drive way. Jason gets out of the car and walks up to the door. He knocks on it and takes a step back when he hears someone coming. Gary answers the door, as soon as he sees Jason, Gary lets out a sigh.
"What?"
"I came here to apologize for everything that's happen."
Gary groans as he rolls his eyes, "You too? Can we please not do this tonight. Last time this all ended in a fight and I really don't wanna get punched in the face again." Gary says as he leans against the doorframe. Jason nods his head.
"Yeah, I'm sorry. Forget it. I'll go." Jason says as he walks off. Gary watches him walk off, he heads back inside the house. Gary makes his way back to the living room and plops down beside David.
"Who was that?" David curiously asks as he throws some popcorn in his mouth.
"Pizza guy got the wrong house."
Gary sighs as he cuddles up next to David, both of them watching a horror film.
Jason sits in his car, staring at his steering wheel. "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck." Jason continues repeating to himself as he lays his head on the street wheel. Behind him he hears a car pull up, he looks in the rear view mirror and sees Amber, Brian, Akira and Ebonne get out from car and head for the door with snacks and drinks in their hands.
Jason drives off as soon as Gary lets them inside and they all disappear inside the house.
"This fucking sucks." Jason says as he slowly drives down the quiet road. Jason makes a turn to the left down a dark road, leading out into the countryside. The tall sprouts of corn and wheat on both sides of the road. Jason pulls out his cellphone and dials Emanuel's number, a moment later he hears a ringtone in the seat next to him. He grabs the phone and immediately sees his name on the caller ID.
