12. New Player pt. 2

David groans as he lifts himself from the ground, he looks around and sees himself in a dark space, barely able to even a foot in front of him. He hears water running somewhere near him, he raises his arm to grab his phone from his pocket, but winces in pain from his ribs. He slowly grabs it from his jacket pocket and turns it on to see the screen cracked. He shines around him and sees a small stream of water running beside him. A few larger rocks surrounding him and a few people lying around him.

"I'm in the sewers? How the hell I'd get down here?" He shines the light up and sees a large hole in the ceiling.

"Fuck." David groans as he gets up to see who's down there with him. He crouches down over a woman and turns her over, he yelps in fear and falls back. The woman's face completely torn off along with some other pieces from her body.

"Oh fuck. Oh fuck." David says as he tries to hold in his barf. He checks the other three people, only for them to be dead. He sees two more people at farther away and checks them out. David immediately notices Gary and Amber laying there.

"Gary! Amber!" David yells there names as he rushes to them. He immediately crouches down over them and sees Amber laying there, holding Gary's hand, crying.
David shines his light at them and sees Gary's bleeding out of his head.

"What happen?" David anxiously asks as he sits behind Gary.

Amber sits up, while still holding Gary's hand, and wipes away the tears. "He won't wake up, but he's still breathing. I tried everything I could think of, but he just won't wake up." Amber says as he sorrowfully looks down at Gary. David moves some hair out of Gary's eyes and sees a long gash down his temple.

"I think he'll be okay, he's just unconscious. He took a hard hit to the head, we need to get it patched up, but he'll be okay." David says as he examines the wound closer.

Amber bites her lip, "How do you know?"

David smirks, "My parents were doctors. I watched them perform a lot of surgeries as a kid, all the way up until I moved away." David says as he tears off a shred of his sleeve to wrap around Gary's head. He does so and the sleeve immediately begins soaking up the blood.

"He should be good, now we gotta find a way outta here. Maybe we can follow this sewer outta here?" Savo suggests as he flashes his light down the path.

"I don't know, what if we get lost. We should stay put until someone come for us." Amber anxiously says as she looks around the dark pit.

"There's a very slim chance anyone knows we're down here. So I wouldn't bet on it." David says as he shines his light at her.

Amber groans as she crosses her arms to keep warm, "Fine, we'll follow you. But you get us killed, I swear to god I'll fucking end you." Amber threatens him as she walks past. David smirks as he shakes his head, he lifts up Gary in his arms and carries him down the sewers behind Amber.

"Here!" David says, Amber quickly turns around and sees David's phone being thrown at her, she swiftly catches it. "Light the path."

Amber nods her head and does so.

Akira screams as she shoots up and looks around her, she only sees the dark sky above and a few helicopters flying around the sky. In the distance she hears ambulances and cops sirens blaring near the airport.

Akira sees the airplane practically inside the airport, Akira's mouth drops when she sees the entire roof on fire and the plane almost gone.

She gets up and sees a few empty parked cars behind her. Akira begins to limp towards the plane, "I need to see if everyone's alright." Akira stops, "What if they're dead. What if they already got out? What am I even doing thinking about going into danger. Damnit!" Akira mentally smacks herself as she stays still debating whether to go in or not.
