It's now been 4 months since I got my bike. I can do all the gears and change them easily. In fact, I'm already trying to jump. Pop takes me off the property and over the forest onto some of the trails there. I haven't yet stacked though. But that could happen anytime. I was currently in the shed getting it ready for some visitors. Yes, some visitors! I live way out in the bush, so having some visitors is a marvellous thing! And not only that, but tomorrow we are having a bike day! I'm currently raking the dirt floor which I have already done about five times. It was Saturday today and by tonight i'll be having an awesome time!

........................................That Night.......................................

I mounted my bike and took off for the front gate. In my hand I held a bright red cloth. Some of the people coming to the bonfire tonight weren't sure where we live so I cut up a red cloth and placed it on our front gate. At that moment a car pulled in. It was Paul! He was a great friend of pops.
"Hi! Just keep going up the driveway. Don't turn towards the house, head towards the shed." I gestured toward the shed in the distance.
"Thanks Laylah!" Paul replied and continued up the road. I hoped back on my bike and sped up the paddock and into the shed. Wait, Seth wanted to see my bike. I pulled it out and pushed it over next to the shed. Kirsty pulled up at that point. She is Paul's daughter.
"Hi Kirsty! Your in time, the fire isn't lit yet." I chatted with her for a while as we walked into the shed.

I'm not going to tell you everyone that came over, but there turned out to be quite a crowd. Over 25 people anyway.
"Hi Paige, hey Seth. The bike is over there if you wanna have a look."

Next day.
.........................................
I picked up some empty Pepsi and Coke cans and stuck them in the bin. The shed wasn't to messy, just a few things that the kids left on the ground. Champ ( my Red Cattle dog X Border Collie ) came over and sniffed around for some left over food.
"I think you ate everything yesterday boy." I ruffled his head as he leant against my leg. The shed looked clean now. There was Pepsi and beer left for this evening after the bike riding. Oh my goodness! I am so excited!
"This is going to be the first bike day ever here!" I jumped around for a second. Champ must've sensed my excitement because he grabbed a stick and ran around like a mad man. I played tug a war for a while with him before checking the time. It was 11:00, in about two hours they should be here. My bike was dirty so I gave it a clean and oiled the chain. By that time it was 12:00. I hoped on and rode around. Pop appeared and told me to stop.
"What is it?"
"Jesse just rang up. They said they'll be here in half an hour, so I suggest you double check the shed and make sure it's clean. And check the markers in the wombat holes. I don't need any accidents yet." Pop ordered. I nodded and headed to the side paddock. There were about 5 wombat holes here. I checked each hole and made sure the markers were clear from a distance. Champ high tailed across the paddock a few meters in front of me. A small rabbit was not far in front. I didn't mind that he chased the rabbits. It saved a few dollars for dinner.

"Hey Seth! Nice gear." I commented as Seth jumped out of the car and was immediately in action as he put his jersey and pants on. His dad was getting the 250 KTM from the trailer, and the 90cc Yamaha and his mums bigger Yamaha. Paige wasn't sure if she wanted to ride or not. She wasn't feeling a hundred percent well. The Scarlets at that point drove up. Steve had a road bike, but I'm not sure what it is. Jesse and Ashley both had small Thumpster bikes. Even though they are my age. Jarrod ( Seth's dad ) kick started the KTM and gave it a test run around the bottom paddock. I rode over to the fence and watched with a dropped jaw at how fast that thing could go! Seth chuckled behind me. He must have followed me to the fence.
"You like it?"
"I wouldn't personally ride it, but I have to say that that thing can go!" I admitted as Jarrod rode it back. Seth was already gone. Probably excited to ride it himself. Jesse and Ashley soon rode over. Ashley's bike was missing nearly all the exhaust so it was extremely loud and painful in sound. She rode off and speeded down the paddock. Jesse shook his head.
"If she doesn't buy I flippen new bike next time we ride. I'm gonna go insane!" He groaned in annoyance. Obviously it annoyed him to. Seth was soon passing us so I followed him and showed where to and where not to ride. He did a small wheelie at one point.
"Show off."
