New friend

Squids P.O.V

We were sitting in our tent just talking about random stuff. Kate was talking to Zigzag about how girls will like him and that he wont be all alone like his dad was after his mom left. She was adorable when she was doing that. i was playing a card game on my bed with X-ray and Armpit. Zero and Caveman were off doing something, not like I cared. Both of them get on my nerves by thinking that they know everything there is to know about the camp. 

"Guys i want to introduce you to your new tent mate  Kallista Love." we all looked up and saw Mom standing in the doorway with a girl. I could in the corner of my eye that Kate was happy that she had another girl to talk to, she was probably getting bored with having just us guys. If me and her ever got married I can promise that she won't get bored ;) if you get what I mean. The girl was just standing there staring at Zigzag who was just looking at the wall probably thinking about something crazy.

"Hi I am Kate!" Kate went up to introduce herself. She rolled her eyes when she saw that none of the rest of us was going to get up and say hi. "These are your new friends. Squid, Armpit, X-Ray, Zigzag and Magnet. There is also Caveman and Zero, don't worry about their names, they are their nicknames.....although if you want I can tell you their real names to get on their nerves.

"Well I will leave now, don't stay up to long guys, bedtime is soon." Mom left us alone. Kate grabbed Kallista and dragged her over to her bed.

Kate's P.O.V. 

I was super happy when Mr. Pendisnki came and introduced us to the new girl. I have a friend I can talk to now about girl stuff and make all the guys swoon over us. Just kidding, I only have the Hots for Squid and I can tell that Kallista has a thing for Zigzag. I saw her eyes stay on him the longest when I was telling her their names. Zigzag had just been staring at the wall, but I could tell she thought he was cute. None of the other guys said anything, they were just staring at the new girl and some weren't even looking. When Mr. Pendiski left I dragged Kallista over to my bed and made her sit down. By now the boys had gone back to what they were doing and Zigzag had gone over to join them. 

"So how are you Kallista? Was the bus ride okay? When I was sent here I got stuck with a smelly bus driver and a really grumpy police officer. I annoyed them though by asking to many questions. But what can i say? I like knowing things?" I let out a little laugh. 

" Well the bus ride was good, and yeah I got stuck with those people too. I did n't ask questions though, I don't think they would have liked it considering what I did to get here." she responded with a laugh I could tell that we were going to be friends. 

"Oh what did you do?" I asked with excitement. I wanted to be the first person she told in her new house. She looked both ways making sure it was safe before leaning over and whispering in my ear. My eyes went big when she leaned back after telling me. " No way! That is so cool!" She only smiled as we heard a bell in the background just as Stanley and Zero walked into the tent.

"Dinner time lets go!" I grabbed her by the arm and dragged her to the dinning hall. "Sorry its not much but the food is edible most of the time." I said and she smiled at me.

As we had gotten our food and sat down the other guys came in. We talked a lot and when dinner was over we got up and left. We talked little bit before we went to bed.

Congrats to Kallista Love! She has been entered into the world of Holes. She has met Kate and the Mr. Pendiski! What will happen now that Kate has a girlfriend to hangout with? Will they try to annoy the guys?
