Squid P.O.V.
I woke up to the sound of Kate and Kallista talking. I let out a smile happy for the fact that she had a new friend. We heard the bell in the distance telling us it was time to get up. The sun hadn't even come up yet, so the rest of the guys were groaning. The guys and I haven't had much of a chance to talk to Kallista because Kate has been hogging her.I don't really mind, if it makes Kate happy then it makes me happy. We all trudged out of the tent to get our shovels and I saw Armpit drag Kallista over to where the other guys were so I took the chance too grab Kate.
"Hey so I see you have made a new friend that you are hogging." I said to her in her ear. She started to blush for some strange reason. I did n't even do anything? She was about to respond but Kallista came back over and dragged her away.

Kate's P.O.V.
It was early in the morning and Kallista and I were awake talking about stuff that most girls tend to talk about.
"So who in the camp do you like? I have already told you that I like Zigzag?" Kallista caught me off guard by asking me that question. I knew who I liked, but should I tell her? I guess I should she is my only girlfriend here.
"I like Squid." i say softly so the guys wouldn't hear me in-case they were up. A smile grew on her face and she started asking me all these questions about him that made me blush. When the topic had been changed we heard the bell in the distance telling us to get up and go get ready to dig. Well it didn't really say that, but when you have been here a while you know that when a bell rings you have to get up and follow everyone else.
When we had gotten outside Armpit came and dragged Kallista away to where the other guys were. Squid came up to me and whispered something in my ear. I didn't have time to say anything, but boy did I blush a lot.
