Squids POV
The guys in the tent have been teasing me lately. They can tell that I like Kate and they keep telling me to ask her to be my girlfriend. I want her to be my girlfriend more then anything in the world. It has been a least a month since Kate went to the doctor. Her legs are growing stronger which is a good thing. I've been thinking about it and maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I asked her to be my gf. I just need to get her alone to ask her.
Kate's POV
I was talking to Kastilla when Squid came over.
"Hey Kate, uh would you like to take a walk with me?" He seemed nervous and looked down at the floor. I smiled a little.
"Uh yeah sure" I stood up and we left the tent. We walked until we reached the place where we dig the holes and sat down.
"It's pretty tonight." I said while looking out at the flat land. It was sunset and their is nothing more beautiful then seeing the sunset in the horizon.
"Yeah it is... I have something to tell you... well I guess ask you. I like you a lot and I think you are super pretty.. I want to ask you to be my girlfriend but I don't know how... I'm scared that you will reject me and then I'd be sad and you'd be freaked out that I liked you and..." Squid spoke without taking a breathe. I laughed a little which caused him to blush.
"Is that your way of asking if I will be your gf?" I gave him a cocky smile while rising my eyebrows.
"Yeah I guess it is" he replied staring at me.
"Well then I'd love to." I smiled big.
After we kissed for a little (which wasn't intended) we walked back to the tent. That night I went to bed with a huge smile on my face and Kastilla giggling the whole time I told her what happened.
