Squids POV
I woke up with Kate's head on my stomach. She got in late last night and I agreed to let her sleep in my bed. She told me about what happened and I felt a pinch of pain in my heart. When everyone else had woken up I gently shook Kate so she would wake up. She smiled when she saw me. As soon as she sat up though the other tent members started to bombard her with a bunch of question. At one point I had said "Guys she got in late last night, please give her space." But she said it was alright and that she wanted to get it over with. So I let her do it. I could tell that Zig zag was upset because Kallista was close to tears. After doing the normal routine we all grabbed a shovel and headed to the place where we dig. I being the gentleman I am, carted Kate's shovel for her while she was chatting with Kallista. They seem excited about something which made me happy, because the love of my life was happy. Wait. Did I really just say that? Well I guess I can't deny it, I am completely in love with Kate.
Kate's POV
"Are you serious?" I asked Kallista with eagerness. "Yes! He asked me last night." Kallista had been telling me about how Zig zag asked her to be his girlfriend. I thought it was soon, but she told me that he said he didn't want to waste time. I was happy for her. "Now all that's left to happen is for Squid to ask you to be his girlfriend!" I laughed at those words. I like Squid, and I'll admit it. I just don't think he likes me back...
