"If a judge for life me...
Would you stay by my side?
Or is ya gonna say good-bye?
Can you tell me right now?"

She flew off, on her wedding day and she made sure that Randhir knew, but her hopes were crushed, he dint call, he dint meet her, he dint care.

Randhir's Pov :
I had introduced her as my friend and I knew that would hurt her, but not as much as she hurt me, i never wanted her to go, but she forced this on me, she forced me to not come, she forced me to listen to her, she had it all her way..

Maybe I was too weak or too in love? Blinded they say? He laughed sarcastically at his folly. He was in a dark place, all he could see is Sanyu trying hard to get away from him, he had hoped that the engagement might change her mind a bit, might make her see things differently, he wanted her in his life and his company was huge, hell there were other HUGE companies in India, in Delhi, she still wanted to go to Dubai.

He felt she wanted the space, he couldn't figure why and he dint react until the day it crossed all boundaries of his tolerance, it was as if his view dint matter, if she wanted to have it all her way then why was she getting  married to him? He felt the institution of marriage meant that a couple decide things together, but she never really ASKED, she just TOLD.

AND flying away on the day after their wedding, who was she kidding? Who even does that? His anger got the best of him, and to an extent it was right, but she dint have a choice, which was what he failed to understand and also he questioned her love, which made him realise that if he's still questioning her love then maybe they're rushing into it? Maybe he pushed her into it and she couldn't deny?

He had pretended to be happy, engrossing himself in work and new people, he hardly came to college, he stayed away from her and it felt like someone was drawing with a knife all over him, each time he walked away from her, he'd walk a few steps out of her sight and clench the cloth near his heart, rub his chest and make himself breath, it felt suffocating!! But he did it anyway. And today she left.

He dint know what he was hoping  for, but she had come running to him saying she won't go, but he knew, he knew the kind of girl she was, she wouldn't be satisfied, she wouldn't be happy and if her happiness lay in a job in dubai then so be it. He would step back, he'd drop it all, atleast she would smile. He felt strongly like he's holding her back. "I don't want to be the reason you're unhappy for life, go where your happiness leads you, I'll be happy watching you, remembering us" he had whispered on his wedding day as he walked into the mandap. He hadn't cancelled it. It was all pretence. How could he? No one loved like Randhir Singh Shekhawat , not even Sanyukta Agarwal.

He had told her those things, he knew it was the last straw, but he hoped she'd miraculously turn up, well, he was the fool in the mandap alone, he sat there till the Fire burnt out. Till he felt their love burnt out.
