"If I showed you my flaws
If I couldn't be strong
Tell me honestly
Would you still love me the same?"His lips tried to move it away, he frowned, this was never on his sanyukta, he never liked hindrance when it came to him loving her, "what's this sanyukta, remove it naaa" he whined like a baby, once he was fed up of it, he lifted his head up and tugged onto it " Randhir stop it, don't touch it" she said almost pushing him away, she dint wanna show him what it was..
"what the hell? What is it? Why are you pushing me away for this? " he roared! He was kissing her after a millennium in relationship years and she cared about this stupid string! This had given her enough time to snap out and think clearly! What was she doing? Giving into him again? When he dint bother for two weeks straight, when she was living alone in a foreign land!
"Ive got enough reasons to push you away Randhir, get out and let me work " she said going back to being cold. Randhir was irritated, he wasn't good at apologies and she knew that, why was she making it so hard.. He had been the first one to go up to her, right? Why couldn't she let go, anyway he thought he had bigger reasons to be bugged.
Being completely unaware of the added 'girl picking up his phone' issue, he knew he hadn't checked up on her, but she had left him at the altar (well, almost, he tried to justify and weigh out who was more at fault). Till then she held the string which had her engagement ring hanging close to her heart, that's where it always hung, made her believe that his love was always with her..
When they went to bed that day, they both couldn't stop thinking about the moment they had back there, how perfect their bodies had felt against each other, they hadn't breathed so easily, they felt for that moment nothing in this world mattered, why did they have to be apart?
Tomorrow was a big day, she thought and it would suck to have him right beside her, but have no support, he'd be there but wouldn't be her pillar, he would be present physically but not there for her emotionally, she was nervous too, she was strong, and independent but she was human & she wanted her boy to hug her & tell her "it will be all good sanyukta, I'm here with you, I won't let anything happen to us"
How badly she craved for his voice, his words, but she knew none of it would come tomorrow, she would have to be her own pillar, she smiled sadly as she imagined how that made no sense at all, and honestly winning tomorrow held so much less importance, he wouldn't celebrate her victory, infact she felt like there was no inspiration or motive to wake up the next day.
The next morning when she woke up, she kissed her ring, she consoled herself saying, maybe he's not there with her now, but this ring is, and that would hopefully get her through, little did she know, this was just the start of things going downhill..
