Chapter 24 Here for you

I hear Beau and Ashley yelling at each other but I am not really sure what they are saying. I feel bad for Ashley Beau angry gets in front of his sometimes before his brain can. "Get out of my face you slut!" I hear Beau yell loud and clear, then Ashley goes running out the door tears streaming down her face. I run after her but by the time I get outside she is already backing out of the drive way. should I get in my car and follow? I ask myself. Well I want to but she probably doesn't want to talk to anyone right now so I should wait a little and then go see her. I walk back inside and everyone is looking at me with a 'what the fuck just happened' kind of look. "um.. you guys should probably wait until she's ready to tell you what happened instead of staring like a bunch of idiots expecting me to tell you" I say really not in the mood to tell them all the whole story, well at least as much as I know. Hailey gets up and heads towards the door "wait Hailey!" I grab her arm " I understand you want answers and you're her best friend and all, but she really just needs sometime to cool down and figure things out on her own and then you can go see her and talk things through" I tell Hailey. Hailey sighs then sits back down beside Luke. I walk over to Jai and grab his hand and we walk up to his room. He sits down onto he bed and I sit beside him and wrap my arms around him, kiss his cheek then rest my head on his shoulder.  Jai turns his head a bit and whispers in my ear "I love you" "I love you" I rely back. He kisses the tip of my nose move back and leans against the bed board. I follow, he puts his arm around me and pulls me into him, I snuggle up and rest my head on his shoulder I close my eyes and I struggle to open them back up. I didn't even realize I was tired until now so I shut my eyes again and drift away to sleep.

I woke up and Jai was gone, I was all tucked in the covers and laid down. I got up and looked at the clock 4:30pm, wow I must have been asleep for a while. I hop of the bed and walk down stairs, I walk into the kitchen and grab an apple then head into the livingroom Luke, Hailey, Jai, and Daniel are all watching some movie on Netflix. When I walk into the room Jai turns his head and says "did my princess get her beauty sleep?" "shut up" I say as I walk over to him and take a seat on his lap. "Well I think you could use a few more hours grumpy pants" he tries to tease me and I just swat at his shoulder. Oh shit I should probably go check up on Ashley I think to myself, I get of Jai and give him a quick peck on the lips then I head towards the door. "where are you going?" Jai asks "Um.. just on a drive" I say cause I really want to go see Ashley alone. "well you're in your underwear babe" Jai laughs and I hear the others giggling behind him. I look down and see that he's right I am in my underwear "Ugh" I complain then stomp back upstairs. I walk into Jai's room and throw some joggers on then go back downstairs. I grab my keys and walk outside to my car.

I knock on Ashley's Apartment door and no one answers. Luckily I grabbed Hailey's keys of the counter, I put the key in the door and open it up. I walk inside and surely enough there is Ashley sitting on the couch with stuffing her face with a bunch of random foods and drinking a huge mug of hot chocolate that I assume she refilled multiple times. Ashley looks at me, she's got makeup smeared all under her eyes. "how'd you get in?" she asks "I stole Hailey's keys" I admit while holding them up. "I am sorry I didn't come right away I really figured it would be better if you had time to think over what happened before I came to try and comfort you by asking questions you don't even know the answer to yet, but I am here for you now" I tell her and she nods her head in agreement. I walk over to her and take a seat next to her on the couch, "So, what happened?" I ask getting straight to the point. "Well to make it short, Beau doesn't believe this is his child he thinks I slept with someone else. "But I thought you just slept with him a few nights ago?" I ask kinda confused "well yeah, but since we used a condom he won't believe the fact that he got me pregnant" she tells me I can see the tears she trying to hold back. "Hey, listen lets not think about that right now lets rewatch a bunch of pretty little liars episodes on netflix and I'll order a pizza sounds good?" I ask she nod and smiles.

After watching almost a full season of pll and eating a lot of pizza Ashley fell asleep and I realized I 's gotta bring back Hailey's keys. I turn off the tv and pull Ashley's legs on the couch so she's lying down and I put a blanket over top of her. Once she looks all nice and comfy I decided to leave.

I get home and I don't see anybody so I assume they are all in their rooms. I put Hailey's keys back then I walk upstairs to Jai's room. As I'm walking I pass Beau's room and I notice the lights are on and before I know it I am barging into his room. "how could you!" I blurt out He turns and just looks at me "Why would you do that to her? Do you know how much courage it took for her to tell you she was pregnant, and then you just explode in her face and accuse her for sleeping with another guy, You know Ashley would never do something like that! you should be able to trust your fucking girlfriend" I freak out at him "Why should I believe her? I know she's lying there is no way in hell I got her fucking pregnant?" he yells back. "what do you need for proof a fucking DNA test?" I ask "Yeah get me proof then I will believe her" Beau says "Fine, I'll get you your fucking proof but just remember when you find out that is your child Ashley's not going to forgive you for not just trusting her in the first place" I say and storm out of the room.
