The knife gleams in Dean's hand. He can already feel the blade piercing the skin, freeing the blood from the body. He's so close. The next victim is nearly in his trap.
There, he sees him. He's wearing a black Greek Fisherman's hat. Benny.
Dean stalks him until they are completely alone.
"Hey," Dean calls. Benny whirls around. Dean plunges his blade in his stomach, but he isn't wearing his black jacket, it's now a tan trench coat.
"Dean?" A small voice squeaks. Dean looks up, and it's not longer Benny beneath his blade, but Cas.
"Why would you do this, Dean?" Cas trembles.
"No, Cas, I'm sorry. It was an accident." Dean tries to pull out the knife, but his hand has other ideas. He twists the knife, causing Cas to scream. "I'm sorry!" Dean screams in a panicked voice.
"Dean, why are you hurting me?" Cas sobs.
"I don't want to, I don't want to hurt you. Cas, I'm so sorry." Dean's voice cracks.
He pulls the knife out, and with a huge effort, he lets the knife drop to the ground. That doesn't stop Cas's throat from slicing open, as though an invisible blade cut across it.
"No!" Dean screams. Cas falls to the ground blood streaming from his bleeding neck. The blood continues to flow, the ground starts to flood with it. Soon Cas is buried in it, and soon so is Dean. He's drowning in Cas's life blood.
Dean wakes suddenly, breathing hard. He scans the unfamiliar surrounding, then he remembers he stayed the night with Cas. He looks over and sees him sleeping peacefully. With a sigh Dean lays back down. The dream running through his mind.
He needs to make a kill. He checks the time; 3:30. If he leaves now, He could probably make it back before Cas wakes up.
Dean gingerly gets out of bed and silently leaves the apartment. He drives all the way to the house of the woman from the restaurant. He parks a good ways away so his car won't be noticed.
He puts on his black leather gloves and grabs his favorite knife. It looks like it's made of bone with teeth on the top. It's his preferred weapon of killing.
He throws his hood over his head and gets out of the car. He walks slowly to her house. When he gets to her house the flood lights come on. Dean keeps his head down and sticks to the shadows. He goes around back. The stupid bitch left her door unlocked, as if she wants to be killed.
Dean slips inside like a shadow. The house is completely quiet. Dean navigates quickly. He finally finds her passed out in her room. She's snoring loudly.
Dean looms over her and places his hand over her mouth. She opens her eyes wide.
"So you like to beat little boys do you?" Dean growls. He brushes his blade against her cheek. She shakes her head and starts speaking against his hand.
"I'm sorry, I didn't get that." Dean moves his hand.
"I'm sorry, please don't kill me, I won't do it again. I'm never even going to see him any more." She blubbers.
"You see that's just not good enough for me." Dean lifts the knife and slams it into her stomach. She cries out in pain. With a twist of the blade she screeches. Dean rolls his eyes and slits her throat. She chokes and tries to staunch the bleeding, but it's no use, she bleeds out. When she's dead, Dean uses the tip of the blade to draw his mark on her forehead. He wipes his knife clean on her sheets and leaves as if nothing happened. He returns to his car, after stashing his blade, gloves, and jacket in the hidden compartment in his trunk. He'll have to hide them later. He drives back to Cas's apartment and gets back into bed.
"Where'd you go?" Cas murmurs sleepily.
"We'll talk about it in the morning," Dean replies. Cas answers with a soft snore.
They do not talk about it in the morning. Cas seems to have completely forgotten. They are lounging on the couch eating pancakes and drinking coffee. Dean's phone rings, again it's Sam.
"Hello?" Dean answers.
"Hey Dean. Cancel any plans you have with Cas tonight. I'm having dinner at my place and you two are invited. There's someone I want you to meet." Sam says hurriedly.
"Um alright. I'll see if it's cool with Cas, and I guess we'll see you tonight." Dean shrugs, even though Sam can't see him.
"Just come around three. See ya Dean."
Dean explains to Cas.
"I would love to meet your brother." Cas beams.
And sure enough, Dean and Cas arrive at Sam's house. An unfamiliar car is in the driveway along with Sam's. Dean eyes it then leads Cas inside.
"We're here!" Dean yells.
"In the kitchen!" Sam shouts back.
Dean follows the voice, with Cas behind him. Dean enters the kitchen to an odd sight.
A man is sitting on the counter next to Sam as Sam is mixing cookie dough. The man keeps stealing part of the dough and Sam playfully smacks at him.
"Hey," Dean murmurs. Sam looks up.
"Hey, Dean, I'd like you to meet Gabriel. He's a very good friend of mine." Sam gestures to the man sitting on the counter.
"By good friend he means, boyfriend." Gabriel hops down and shakes Dean's hand.
"Boyfriend?" Dean raises an eyebrow.
"Gabe?" Cas squeaks and rushes forward throwing his arms around the man.
"Cassie! How are things?" Gabriel chuckles and pats his back.
"Great! Michael misses you." Cas pulls away.
"I'm assuming you two know each other." Dean crosses his arms. Jealousy is biting at him.
"Yeah, me and Cassie go way back." Gabriel beams.
"My family practically adopted him, he's like one of my many older brothers." Cas explains.
"Hi Castiel, I'm Sam." Sam looks down at the man.
"Hello, great to finally meet you." Cas smiles.
They all eat together and have a good time. Dean approves of Gabriel, there is no way he would ever suspect Dean of being Cain. This could work.
