They don't even know how many times they made love. All they know is that every flat surface was used in the cabin, and even a few places outside, and that they are both very exhausted, leaning against the rocks in a pool of water near the cabin. They had done it twice in the water so far.  Dean gets out of the water and pulls Cas back into the cabin, collapsing on the bed, pulling Cas with him. They snuggle close to each other, feeling very happy.

"Cas,  you know I love you more than anything." Dean sighs.

"Of course I know that,  Dean." Cas sighs, looking over at him. "I love you too."

"Let's get married," Dean says casually.

"What?" Cas blinks at him in shock.

"You heard me." Dean says. He rolls over and pulls the night stand drawer open and grabbing something from inside. "It doesn't have to be now.  We can plan it,  invite our friends and family and such." He holds a silver band out to Cas. Cas can see a larger sapphire and two small emeralds embedded in the silver.

"Dean..." Cas looks at the ring then at Dean.

"You are the only person in the world who knows the real me and you still want to be with me.  We share a profound bond,  you and I. And I want to be with you for the rest of my life." Dean smiles at Cas.

"I-" Cas gasps. "Yes, I would like to marry you."

"I was hoping so," Dean sighs happily, taking Cas' hand and slipping the ring on his finger.

"Is this why you brought me all the way up here?" Cas asks with a smile, marveling at the ring.

"Yeah, I was going to be all sappy and make it all romantic, but I figured this was the best way to do it." Dean shrugs. "I almost did it at breakfast, but it didn't feel right."

"No,  this was perfect," Cas grins and kisses Dean. They snuggle back next to each other, not having the energy to do much else.

They slowly start drifting off, wrapped in each others arms.

"Good night, fiance," Dean murmurs before he falls asleep.

"'Night, fiance." Cas mumbles back with a happy smile before falling asleep.

The next couple of days are happy and fun.  Cas almost forgets about the dark secret. They stayed at the cabin for a night and went back home the next day, spending time together at home.

But Saturday morning Dean is back in Cain mode, anxious and excited about tonight. Tonight is the night he claims Dick as his next victim.

Dean tries anything he can to get Cas out of the house and distracted, he doesn't want Cas to worry. Though Dean thinks Cas was an idea of what he's trying to do.

"How about we have a movie marathon tonight? We could watch those Hobbit movies you've been trying to get me to see." Cas suggests as they're cleaning up the breakfast dishes.

"Rain check on that," Dean says.  "Sammy, uh,  needs my help with something."

"Dean," Cas sighs deeply. Setting the bowl he was washing back into the sink. "It's one thing to go out killing without telling me, but you don't need to lie about it."

"How did you-"

"You have that look, the one you get when you have a fix for a kill." Cas looks at him.  "I'm assuming it's that Dick Roman guy, I've seen the look get darker when he's mentioned on the news." Cas turns to look at him. "I want you to promise me that you will be careful. This will be dangerous, I don't want you to get caught...  or killed."
