Sunshine and Love {Heavy x Injured! Reader}

It was a normal day on (RED/BLU) base. Your teams Medic was having some trouble with the respawn system, so a ceasefire was called until it was fixed. You were spending the day with your best friend on the base: Heavy. You two were pretty much inseparable since you got to the base, and you spent every waking hour together.

It was a beautiful day out, so you two were spending the day outside. Heavy was trying to teach you Russian, and you were failing miserably. "собаки милые," Heavy said. "Now leetle (y/n) try." You tried to repeat what he said, but it just came out as gibberish. He laughed, his deep voice rumbling. "Stop laughing at me!" You said, pouting, bit with a small smile on your face. "Am sorry Солнышко. But is funny to see you try and speak mother tongue."

You rolled your eyes and gave him a hug. You really enjoyed spending time with him, and wished everyday could be this peaceful.

That peace was ruined however, when a scream reached your ears. Scout came running towards you, forehead bleeding. "Scout! What happened?" "It's the (REDs/BLUs). They're attackin'!" You and Heavy looked at each other, and nodded. "Time to kick some (RED/BLU) ass!"

You headed towards the supply room and grabbed your (weapon). You ran out, killing a few (REDs/BLUs). After killing a (RED/BLU) Scout, you felt a cold wind behind you and soon, a sharp pain in your abdomen. You put your hand on your side, and upon pulling it away, you saw that it was covered in blood.

"Au revoir, ma cherie." The Spy cloaked and ran off.

Your vision was quickly fading and you called the only person you could think of. "Heavy...help..." You say weakly, falling on the floor, blood seeping from your wound. The last thing you hear before blacking out, is a Russian calling your name.

~Time Skip~

Beep...Beep...Beep...

All you hear upon waking up is the soft beep of a heart monitor. You open slowly open your eyes, trying to sit up, when a hand gently pushed you back down. "Try not to move frau," said Medic. "Jou are still recovering from your vounds." "How'd I get here? The last thing I remember, I was bleeding out on the ground." Medic lightly chuckled, setting down his clipboard. "Heavy found jou und brought jou to me right avay. He vas in shambles. Hasn't left jour side, und I finally convinced him to eat a sanvich." "Really? He was that worried about me?" "Ja. I zink he may haff feelings for jou frau." You blushed a bit. "Is he around? I need to thank him." "Ja. I'll go get him." Medic walked away, and about two minutes later, the med-bay doors opened, revealing your Russian friend. He walked in, taking a seat next to your bed. "Is (y/n) feeling better?" "Yeah Heavy, I am. I wanted to thank you for saving me." He shook his large, shaved head. "No need to thank. I was protecting my Солнышко. Would do anything to keep her safe." You started to tear up. "Oh Heavy..." Tears of joy streamed down your face; you were glad to have such a great person in your life.

He wrapped you in his massive arms, gently hugging you. "Is okay возлюбленная, you are always safe with me." You sniffled, pulling away and wiping your eyes. "Heavy?" "Mmm?" "What does that word mean?" A blush flashed across his face, and he pulled you close, holding your chin. "Means 'love'." It was your turn to blush, as he leaned down, pressing a loving kiss on your lips.
