**Picture is, Carson Carter!
"Charlie, you want Lucky Charms or Frosted Flakes?" He looked at me with the dullest of expressions before he screamed, " LUCKY CHARMS! They're the most goodest cereal in the world!" I snapped my head in his direction only to stare at him as if he'd said a curse word. I just hate for him to be out in the world & not know how to speak properly. I don't want anyone making fun of him because of how he speaks. He's young and, still has a lot to learn. As we're strolling down the isle of the lovely & expensive Wal-Mart, I look to my right & see the electronics section. We headed towards it, mostly because Charlie loved playing with the tablets & picking up movies he knows I'll buy. I on the other hand really needed some new games. The ones I have now are either busted or just boring to me now.
"You play games?" I hear Darilyn ask walking behind me. "I do, I'm damn good at them, as a matter of fact." I turned to him, looking him from top to bottom.
Oh God, we have to do something about his clothes. In the midst of my in head styling, I over hear him say, "I play but, probably not what you play." Darilyn announced. I turned slowly around because I was in shock according to hell he just opened the gate for.
"What might that be Mister. IknoweverythingaboutCarsonCarter?" I stated.
He looked almost afraid to answer, "I just meant that, we probably aren't interested in the same games. You might play, Call of Duty & 2K or something. Whereas, I play Naruto & Mortal Kombat, fiction & cartoon games." He said, sounding as embarrassed as he could be. I admit, I liked seeing him all flustered & bothered. Its funny to watch as his face heats & how uncomfortable he gets.
"I'll have you know, I do play all of those games except 2K. Now thats one of the stupidest games invented. It's already a real thing, why does it have to be in game form? Completely unnecessary if you ask me."
"Wait a minute, you play Naruto? No way, I'd totally demolish you with Neji Hyuga. You wouldn't stand a chance against me." He sounds so sure about himself. I chuckled lightly, "You couldn't beat me with my favorite character. Yes, I watched the show. I know Neji's moves inside, out. No way you'd win boy!"
Two hours in and we're already arguing, about Naruto no less. I'm still mentally laughing at the fact that, he thinks he can beat me with a character I've played with since forever.
"W-would you...uh.. like to come over sometime to play? I mea, y-you don't have to, I just thought I'd be a nice way of getting to know each other." he asked, chuckling nervously. I continued to walk down the grocery isle picking up food items. Maybe I should go, it might not be that bad. "Sure, why not?" I said, turning around looking at him. He looked as shocked as I felt saying it. Once the shock left his face, it became red. He was blushing, how cute.
"Really? Ok, When should we schedule?" Pulling out his phone, to get to his calendar I'm guessing. What a dork, he has a planner? Wow. "Let's see, I don't have anything planned-" Was all he could get out before I cut him off. This was so sad.
"How about tonight?" I stated, more or less. He looked up at me, more confused than ever. "I thought we had the movie tonight?" I looked at him as if he's the slowest kid I've ever seen. "Yes, but now we're going to you house to play the game. Got it? Ok." I retorted, turning around to see Charlie playing a game on my phone. This kid, he loves games, more importantly my phone.
