"Forward.
Best foot first just in case.
When we made our way 'til now it's time to listen.
It's time to fight,
Forward..
Now we're going to hold doors open for a while,
Forward."*************************

Waking up today, has been the easiest thing I've ever done. Its finally Saturday, nothing can make this day go wrong. I thought as I walked over to my closet, choosing today's outfit. I decided to go for something simple & bad boy like.
Reaching into the back of my closet, I pull out a black leather jacket. Going back in, I grab a pair of white vans that I bought a couple weeks ago & never wore. I head over to my dresser & pull out a white tee with a small polo logo on it. Finally, I pull out a pair of ripped black denim jeans.
"Carson get down here, its time for breakfast & you have mail!" screamed my mom from the kitchen. I have a busy day so, I threw on a pair of faded jeans & a thin hoodie that read 'Wavy'. Running down the stairs I yell, "Goodmorning starshine, the Earth says hello." Its literally my go to phrase from the movie Charlie & The Chocolate Factory."What? Come Carson, sit down and eat. I know you're excited about today but, trust me if you break anything in my house. You won't even make it to your date. Here's your mail dear, love you."
"You know, I'm so glad my sister stayed in a hotel. This morning would've been worst than any other." I said, laughing it off as if I was joking.
"Thats not funny Carson, I don't understand what happened. You two used to be so close." she mused, yeah we did but, that was the past. I mean no one really knows what happened. Not even Sadie & Avery, it was really personal & I couldn't risk it getting out.
"You know, I think if you'd just talk to her & get to know Ryan everything would be alright. Would you be willing? It would make me really happy." she babbled, I simply shook my head & picked up the letter. Opening up the letter, I literally jumped out of my chair & screamed. I swore the neighbors heard me, I saw that I was accepted to Prescott University in South Carolina. I fell in love with this school from the moment I stumbled upon the website.
"Mom, I got in, I really got in!" Waving the letter around as I jumped and screamed for joy. I understand this may look and sound a little juvenile but, I've had my eye on this school since I stepped foot in sophomore year. I've worked so hard and now its paid off! "Well I'm happy for you kiddo, truly but, calm down a bit. You'll wake your father & we all know how cranky he'll be if woken up." she whispered.
"I am not cranky, now whats with all the damn noise? One minute I'm sleeping peacefully & the next poof, screaming and jumping." he stated rather.. crankily..
"Sorry dad but, I got accepted to Prescott. I can't contain my happiness, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulder. I got in with a scholarship as well." I admitted, capturing a glimpse of happiness and content in my parents eye.
"Oh honey, I'm so proud of you. I knew you could do it! I'm going to go out and buy a frame for this letter." she says, kissing me on my forehead.
"Well son, I'm not excited about this news. See I always knew you'd get in. You're entirely too smart, to have not gotten in. I'm proud of you kid, keep up the good work." he admits, messing up my hair more than it already was. Once everyone was out of the room I looked at the letter once more & hugged it tight.
