Luna stood infront of the Skyline Pad not really knowing what to do, there was frenzied activity all around her in the form of soldiers clamering up the stairs to get what was left of the Skylines. Luna sighed and started making her away across the base towards the Dome, she was supposedly going to die any minute so she might as well be doing it with a friend. After a few minutes of walking she noticed that the base had been pretty much deserted, it was like a ghost town.

Luna could see smoke billowing up from the Dome in the distance, she'd hoped the ventilation ducts in the Dome were still working otherwise it would start to get very unpleasant inside the Dome very soon. Luna trotted around making as much noise as she pleased, it wasn't like anything was going to stop her now, except you know.. A big explosion, but she assumed that was a given, big explosions stop everything. They also look bad-ass.

Luna thought about the whole situation as she walked, she knew there wasn't a way to avoid this, she HAD to go to work and she HAD to get on that train. She sighed, if she was going to die she was going to die in style god damnit. Luna, however, was still incredibly confused, why would David bring them here in the first place? A Military Base.. Run by the people who are trying to kill him, even if had friends it was way too risky. And then it clicked.

David didn't know anyone here, he had been planning to sabotage the Dome all along at any cost. Rage built up inside of her, she was just coming along for this wild ride, he didn't care what happened to her as long as he got what he wanted, she stopped in her tracks to look around as an odd click rang throughout the compound, it was the PA System.

"Attention shoppers, the store will be closing in 3.. 2.. 1.." It was David, as soon as he said one a massive beam of light exploded out of the top of the Dome and blasted its way through the outer dome, Luna shielded her eyes and stumbled back. It was brief and when she looked back the Dome was a smouldering pile of ash, her eyes, however were drawn up to a group of a dozen or so Military Branded Skylines whizzing into the compound.

As the remainder of the light diminished the compound fell dark and Luna could only make out the searchlights that were emitted from the Skylines as well as the glow of the city above her seeping through the smog that was now also seeping in through the Outer Dome.

Luna was alerted by a tap on her shoulder to which she responded by spinning around and thumping her hands against the figures chest, though it was futile, the figure grabbed her hands and held them in place.

"Shut up dummy, it's me." Ah, David, She thought to herself, just the man she wanted to see, "I know what you're going to say but we don't have time! We need to get to the Spaceport on Staten Island!"

"Staten Island?" She repeated, dumbfounded.

"Did I stutter?" He said seeming annoyed, "It's our only way off this dumb planet."

"Wait, WHAT?! We can't leave Eart-" Luna was cut off by David.

"Luna Eldrich, Cleaner at the Ministry HQ, no immediete family, no one to miss her." David said in a cold tone, Luna was shocked by his words, how did he know so much about her? She didn't have time to care, she could make out the outline of the smog seeping in through the hole in the top of the dome and she didn't want to have another run-in with it. They both went to turn to walk but it was too late, a spotlight focused on them, and then another, and another. The last thing Luna heard was the whizzing sound of something flying right at her before knocking her out, she was getting real tired of this.
