Luna looked over at  David who already had his hands on his head, not wanting to be riddled with bullet holes she followed his prompt and did the same. The soldiers immedietly rushed down the hill and ordered them to their knees, they obliged and were almost immedietly handcuffed. The base was humming with activity, soldiers were everywhere along with troop transports and patrolling guards. At the center of the dome another dome poked its head over some of the other buildings, Luna assumed that was the Base of Operations. They were being lead towards it, Luna looked over at David who was avoiding all eye contact, she huffed. She never should have gone with him, she could have escaped the Undercity by herself, she was sure of it. Just then she let out another hacking cough and the guard escorting her stopped almost immedietly in his tracks.

"Take them to the infirmary, the girl has Steel-Lung. The Ministry wants them alive." The commanding officer barked.

"I see not much has changed then, Colonel Edwards I presume?" David stated with a smug look on his face which was greeted by the butt of a gun in his face, David was knocked out immedietly and his limp body was dragged on the opposite direction.

"David! Stop it!" Luna screamed but her pleas were futile, she felt a sharp pain in her shoulder, she turned her head slightly to see one of her escorts removing a needle from her shoulder. Everything started to fade.

Luna's eyes fluttered open again, she was sick of being knocked out and was becoming rather annoyed. She sat up in the Hospital bed and observed her surroundings, a fairly simple room with nothing more than her bed, a chair and various machinery. She had to hand it to her captors though, she did feel a whole of a lot better. As she went to lift herself out of the bed she was held back, she was handcuffed to the bed, she sighed. Somewhere in the distance an explosion rang out and panicked footsteps could be heard from just outside her door, 'David.' She thought to herself as a grin crept across her face.

Just then the door slammed open and three men, obviously soldiers poured into the room and started to disconnect her from the machines, once that was done she was uncuffed from the bed and escorted out of her room into a gleaming white hallway that seemed to go on forever. She didn't speak, neither did the soldiers but she could see that they were scared of whatever it was, they made turn after turn in the maze-like hallways until they came to an empty foyer. It was also incredibly simple except for the big red cross above the reception desk and various greenery in pots scattered around.

They barged through the automatic doors impatiently and stuffed Luna into an armored Humvee, this may have been the future but not THAT much had changed. After being placed in the vehicle it almost immedietly began to lurch forward, there was only a grate seperating her and the driver but she didn't dare risk an escape. Instead she peeked up and out of the vehicles window, they were going fast but she could make out the Center Dome, and it was on fire. It's picturesque exterior was now ruined by scorched tiles and cracked glass, she looked over to the driver.

"What's going on?" She demanded, the driver kept his eyes on the road.

"We got orders from the Ministry to transport you and your err.. Friend. Although judging by radio chatter he's the reason the Dome is on fire." The man sighed as he sped up slightly before going back to his normal speed. Luna wasn't sure how to feel about this, she let a small giggle escape her lips.

"You don't know what that means, do you, girl?" He said as if he was talking to a child, "That dome? That's where all the experimental technologies are developed, and you know what we develop there?" He said no even giving Luna time to respond, "Bombs." He said, Luna went to speak but was cut off by him talking into the vehicles radio.

"Escort for Prisoner 627 approaching Skyline Pad #2, be advised." He spoke mechanically into the device.

"Where are you taking me?" Luna queried uneasily.

"Out of this damn city, that's for sure, that Dome is going to go boom any minute." He replied, Luna watched out of the windscreen as they approached a giant structure that was at least two stories tall, this was no doubt Skyline Pad #2. As they pulled up the chatter coming from the radio practically exploded, people were screaming and demanding backup.

"This is squard 12-B demanding backup! Prisoner 626 is crazy! He just released the Husks! God help us!" One voice screamed, "The reactor is about to go critical and Alpha Delta Squad is still in there! We need an Evac ASAP!" another demanded.

Upon the word, 'Husks' being uttered the driver went pale, he got out of the vehicle, unlocked her door and uncuffed her. He then proceeded to run as fast as possible in the opposite direction of the Dome, why did these things always happen to Luna? Granted none of them were THIS bad..
