"Ouch! Bitch you need to clean up something stabbed my damn foot."
I laughed as Von limped to the couch with the object in her hand, "What is it?"
"I don't know but that shit hurt."
My eyes watered as she put O'Neils wedding band in my hand. My grip tightened as tears fell slowly. This man is killing me.
Von picked up her purse and keys, "Hell nah we going up there."
"Von no!"
"No fuck that. Nobody crosses you and you think ima just close my eyes and turn my back. Fuck that! Let's go Valencia!"
We got into the car and went to the office. Von pushed the door open and behold of course Kahlia was there sucking my husband's dick.
Von laughed, "Get your hoe ass up and move around bitch!"
"Uh you again."
"Who she talking to. Hoe I will stomp you do you understand that bitch!"
I pulled my sister back as she walked up on ole girl. Reaching in my back pocket I pulled the ring out and placed it on the table.
"Why isn't it on your finger?"
He rubbed his hands over his face and sighed, "I need my space right now V. I've been thinking and shit just ain't the same between us."
"What!"
"Bitch you can't hear! It's over! Done! Bye!"
Von grabbed her hair and security rushed in pulling us out. The door shut and he went to help his hoe off the floor. I can't believe this. I'm married to him. What the fuck man!
We got back in the car and Von grabbed her gun about to go back in but I grabbed her quickly, "Stop! Remember what kind of niggas they are Von!"
She got in, "What you wanna do?"
"Take me to his mom."
She drove me to Miss Darla. When I walked in she was sitting on the porch having a drink. I sat next to her and broke down crying. My heart was so heavy.
"He had me escorted out Miss Darla! I can't take it no more. I have been dealing with him for 11 years and he do this to me behind some hoe."
She nodded slowly, "I should have stopped him from the life he was living but we needed the money. Everyday I had dreams that my baby would die out there. Running around with all these girls. Claiming they have his babies. People trying to kill him. But then he met you and brought you home."
"I remember that. You cooked all this food."
"Because you brought me peace. I knew your family and I knew your mother. I knew that you would bring him out and you did."
I shrugged, "O'Neil don't care about that."
"Yes he does. You need to remind him about it. Show him how much you gave him. Remind him how all of that is because of you."
She had my head spinning, "You're his mama. I thought you were supposed to encourage me to stay with him."
"Baby I'm a woman just like you. I have experienced that hurt too many times. My heart hurts knowing what my son is doing to you. Your a mother before anything and I won't help him hurt you."
"Thank you MaMa D. How do I remind him though?"
She sipped her drink and smiled, "Take it."
"Huh?"
