Shai still isn't talking to me. It's been almost a whole week and the girl hadn't said shit. Granted we barely speak during the week. I'm usually moving in the office and doing extra stuff and she has class and then work at the hospital. We don't really even have time to just see each other.
It's Friday morning. She is usually coming through the door with her bags but this time she hasn't said a thing. I don't even know why she is mad like I'm freshly divorced.
Getting out the car I walked down to the football feild. The boys were having practice and Valencia called me to come and pick them up.
"Sorry for the notice is short. Hey do you have plans with your boo tonight?"
I shook my head, "We aren't speaking. She doesn't understand that I'm freshly divorced. Girl is forcing me into a relationship."
"She clingy?"
"Nah man. She is in medical school and she does shifts at the hospital after that. We are together Friday night through Sunday afternoon."
Valencia laughed, "What's the problem then. The girl just wants a title. She just wants to feel important like she has a place in your life O'Neil."
Looking at Valencia I nodded slowly, "That sound legit."
"Cause it is. Did you forget the promises you made me?"
"Nope!"
Kissing my cheek she pat my back, "Good. If you need to drop them off call and let me know. Do not take them to Vivian."
"Y'all into it?"
"No. Just don't take them there. Call me first."
She turned to walk off but I grabbed her, "Do you and ole boy have a title?"
She smiled and nodded, "We don't flaunt but yeah that's bae."
The boys ran to me as the coach bkew his whistle, "Hey dad!"
"Sup lil kings. Where is ya baby brother?"
Tyler jumped in the car after giving me his gear, "With your mama!"
"Ooohhhh." Torey started laughing.
I pushed him down on the seat, "You capping lil nigga!"
He laughed and pushed me off, "Dad I miss you. Can you come back home?"
"What do y'all want for dinner?"
Torey raised his hand, "I want some Chinese!"
Tyler shook his head, "I want hot wings and ranch."
Hearing my son in such a bad mood because I'm not home killed me. Me and Valencia need to explain this to them soon. They are older and I think they'll understand.
Me: CiCi
Her: The talk with the boys. I know.
Me: You didn't tell me
Her: I'm not ready
Me: I feel that
Her: Yeah ttyl
Driving home the boys ate and went to sleep. Shai still hasn't answered any of my calls. Getting my sister on the phone she agreed to come over and sit with the boys while I go to this hospital for my girl.
Walking in everyone was looking at me. This being famous thing never gets comfortable. I can't just go out and do normal things without people running me down for a photo or women trying to get in my pants.
