*Hides behind @Mrs_Swan_Cullen to dodge the mob*

@mrs_swan_cullen : Wtf?!

Me: what?! You deal with this more! I don't know how to not get killed!

Mob: *eating popcorn and relighting their torches as they wait to attack*

@mrs_Swan_cullen : how the hell did I even get here?!

Me: Don't ask me...

Mob: Let us burn her already!

@mrs_swan_cullen : okay guys, maybe this is all a misunderstanding! Maybe she's been super busy?

Me: actually I was just lazy...

@Mrs_swan_cullen : stfu I'm saving your a*s!

Me: *raises hands defensively*

Mob: *muttering passive-aggressively to each other*

@mrs_swan_cullen : yeah I'm gonna go watch Liv and Maddie. *leaves*

Mob: FINALLY. *chases me with pitchforks*

Me: I CAN'T UPDATE IF I'M DEAD!!

Mob: Damn. She's right.

Me: *smiles*

Mob: come on. Let's go poke updates out of people. *leaves*

Me: Finally. On to the chapter...

Bella's POV

"No, Josie, I told you. I can't just drop everything and go," I told Josephine over the phone when I got home. She had been trying for the past fifteen minutes to get me to spend the weekend with her at her apartment.

"Babe, you should go. You've been really stressed lately. I haven't helped, I know. And Josie's really great with you," Edward told me as he hung up his suit.

"Yeah, Eddie's right. So... please?" Josephine begged through the speaker.

I groaned.

"Fine,"

"Yay!" she squealed. "Pick you up at nine,"

She hung up.

I looked at the clock - 5:28 - and stood up to get my suitcase so I could pack for the weekend. Edward helped me look for everything I would need.

Toothbrush/Toothpaste?..Check.
Spare blanket?..............Check.
Clothes?......................Check.
Phone/Charger?.............Check.
Wuthering Heights?.........Check.

Edward zipped up the case for me and put it by the front door before coming back into the bedroom and jumping onto the bed beside me.

I flicked the tv on to Netflix and continued watching Glee. Edward lounged beside me playing with my hair and I sang along to the songs.

---------------

It's true, what they say. Time flies when you're having fun. Nine o'clock came too fast, and though I love hanging with Josie, I hate leaving Edward.

He brought my suitcase outside to Josie's cherry red Lexus for me, and then pushed me to the car, placing his hands next to my head.

"I'll miss you." he whispered.

"I'll miss you, too," I breathed.

Edward was leaning in to kiss me when Josie rolled down the window.

"GET YOUR GRUBBY LITTLE MANHANDS OFF MY CAR! I JUST HAD IT WASHED, DAMMIT!"

Edward jumped, and I flinched before laughing airily.

Edward waved to me and then went back inside the house. I watched him leave before walking around to the passenger side.

I wrenched the door open and slid onto the black leather seat.

"Heyyy!" Josie smiled widely at me. I grinned.

"Hey miss 'I-Interrupt-Cute-Moments',"

"That's the best you got?" She asked me as she shifted into reverse and backed out of the driveway.

"Yeah. I'm a bit rusty." I snickered and turned on the radio. 'Superman' by Taylor Swift was playing, and I immediately turned the volume up.

Josephine giggled, but sang along with me anyway.

"Tall, dark and Superman he puts papers in his briefcase and drives away!" I sang.

"To save the world, or go to work; It's the same thing to me." she replied.

"He's got his mother's eyes, his father's ambition - I wonder if he knows how much that I miss him!" we sang in sync.

It continued like that until the song ended, and some unfamiliar songs started playing, so I turned the radio down and Josie continued driving through the drizzling rain.

I wondered why I dreaded going with Josie so much; now that I was in the car with her, I was sure Edward was right. This was what I needed.

This was what I wanted.
