"So I have everything we're gonna do planned out. I even have times when certain movies are showing. You like The Notebook, right?" Josie asked me.
I looked down at my feet. "I've never seen it, actually,"
"I'm sorry," Josephine scoffed, "I must not've heard right. I thought you said you've never seen The Notebook."
"It's true," I insisted.
"Does Edward have you living under a rock?" she asked me.
"I just don't really like romantic movies,"
"Are you sure you're a girl? You're not hiding your nuts or anything, are you?"
I rolled my eyes at her.
"Okay, okay, how about Romeo and Juliet?" she asked.
"Deal!"

Perfect. Everything was going to plan.
As Bella left the house, I began to make plans for her birthday party. I know it's still three days away, but I want to be prepared.
I called the bakery and ordered a cake to be picked up early Monday morning. I went out shopping to buy decorations, and I began texting invitations.
When I finally got home, I went to our bedroom and opened my drawer. Moving papers and miscellaneous items, I finally found it.
I picked up the black velvet box and twirled it between my fingers for a moment before flicking it open.
The ring reflected rainbows on the walls as the sunlight hit the intricate diamonds.
Smiling, I shut the box and placed it back in the drawer.
You can do this, I told myself, before walking out to the living room and watching some television.
