16. Mating Pull

Rain's POV

I opened my eyes slightly and got blinded by the sunlight draping through my windows.
An arm was wrapped around my waist and I looked to my right to see Jace with a cute little smile on his face and snoring quietly.

I snuggled deeper into his chest and the grip he had on me tightened. I moved so I was straddling his waist and he growled and opened his eyes.

I leaned down and kissed his lips softly and he growled in approval.

"I love you Rain"

I looked at him with wide eyes and hopped off him bringing the sheet with me to cover my naked body.

His eyes darkened and I was pinned up against the wall in an instant.

"Mine" he growled.

"I'm yours" I breathed out.

He nibbled the place where he bit me and I clutched his back tightly, pulling him towards me.

"We should have breakfast" he said before kissing my neck.

I nodded my head and we got dressed before heading down to the kitchen.

Everyone that we saw along our journey bowed their heads to me and Jace, and I was so confused.

"Why are they doing that?"

"Cause they finally know that you are the Luna"

"Do they know...?"

"Everyone knows. Your scent has now mixed with mine"

I hid behind him and heard yelling from the kitchen and items being smashed.

Only one person can be behind this one. Brodie.

We walked into the kitchen and his eyes were glowing with rage. He looked at us and he growled louder than I have ever heard anything growl before.

Jace stood in front of me protectively and I grabbed his hand.

"Mine" Brodie growled.

"She's mine" Jace growled.

I tried to stand in between the two of them to stop the fight that was about to blow up but Jace pulled me back into his arms.

"Mine" he whispered in my ear.

Brodie growled and took a step towards us but I just cuddled into Jace more. This mate pull is really effecting me.

"You're supposed to share her Jace"

"Brodie how can I be with you when you have someone else"

"It was a mistake. I'm sorry Rain"

"A mistake?" I heard a voice say. I looked at the bottom of the stairs and saw Conor's sister. "You weren't saying it was a mistake when you were pounding me hard and fast, moaning out my name"

Brodie growled and started stalking towards her. I walked towards him to stop him and Conor's sister growled when I touched his chest. She lunged towards me and Jace pulled her back.

He was grabbing her and pulling her body towards his.

I growled... Holy shit I just growled.

"Mine" I snapped.

I pulled Jace away from that little man stealer and grabbed his face, smashing my lips to his.

Before we got carried away I was pulled away by Brodie and into his arms.

"I'm so so sorry mate" he whispered in my ear.

I nodded my head and squirmed around in his arms and he sighed.

"She's mine Brodie" Jace said with a smirk.

I heard Brodie whining like a little puppy and his eyes started swelling up with tears.

He knew he was slowly starting to lose me.

The next week I have been by Jace's side 24/7. He has taken me on a few dates and we sleep in the same bed every night. And yes we have had sex a few more times but that's normal because we are mates.

Brodie... Well.. I don't know where he's been. I think he's been locked up in his office trying to avoid me. It's just paining his wolf too much.

Oh speak of the devil and he shall appear. Brodie walked into the kitchen where it was only me.

"Oh sorry, I'll go" he spoke hoarsely.

"No! Stay!" I yelled.

He looked at me with his bloodshot eyes and I nearly burst into tears. What have I done?

He ran over to me and I brought him into my arms.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to be with her, it was a mistake that I've never going to be able to take back. I thought you were never going to find out about us so I needed to move on. Didn't work though. You're all I think about. I love you Rain"

I pulled him in tighter and he cried into the place where he was going to mark me. I've learnt so much about their world and it seems so normal now. But I'm not sure what I am.. I'm definitely not a werewolf but I'm not exactly human.

I heard growling and pulled away from Brodie to see Jace, his eyes glowing.

"Jace" I said happily while running into his arms. He breathed in my scent and kissed his mark repeatedly. I was like jelly in his arms.

"Baby come to bed" he growled lowly.

I giggled and looked at Brodie to see his fists clenched and breathing lowly while glaring at Jace.

"I wanna spend some time with Brodie. Is that okay?"

"Fine... Just for tonight. But tomorrow you're all mine" he said before smacking my ass and walking upstairs.

I walked over to Brodie and grabbed his face gently in my hands.

"Calm down Brodie. I'm here"

He grabbed my hand and started walking upstairs. We got to his bedroom and I yawned, I didn't realise how exhausted I was.

He slowly lifted my shirt up and took my pants off gracefully so I was just left in my bra and under wear. He took his off as well and left himself in his underwear. He went to his cupboard and got one of his shirts and slipped it over my tiny body.

"Sleep" he said before turning the lights off.

I hopped under the covers and moaned at how soft his bed was. Brodie hopped in as well and wrapped his arms around my waist.

I looked into his eyes and he was staring back into mine. I looked down at his lips and the grip he had around my waist tightened. He leaned towards me and I closed my eyes, awaiting his lips on mine. But it never came... Instead his soft lips landed on my cheek. I blushed in embarrassment and opened my eyes.

He had his eyes closed and his head was resting against his pillow. I snuggled into his chest and his arms were around me protectively.

"Goodnight Brodie"

"Goodnight princess"

I blushed at his comment and closed my eyes. In an instant I was asleep in Brodie's arms.
