Today is the first day of rehearsing in our lines. Emily starts to teach us the choreography. The choreography is really hard for me to pick up. I don't know what's wrong with me. Emily clearly doesn't notice me struggling because she says that we will now do it with the music. What kind of dance captain does that? Dance Captains are meant to go through the choreography with you if you do not understand it. That's the opposite to what Emily's doing.
During the dance, with the music, is when Emily actually notices that I don't get it. She tries to show me but I just can't keep up. She pulls me to the side and she asks me what's wrong. There is two reasons why I'm not picking up the choreography: 1. Because I just don't get it and 2. Because I need someone in front of me to kind of follow along with.
I struggle to tell Emily. I finally start to tell her but she interrupts me. She thinks I want a break which case I don't. I actually wanted to tell her that Michelle and I need to be switched so I can follow the choreography better. Michelle is picking it up really well and really quickly. That's why she also should be in the front row. I guess I'll have to tell Emily at Squeezed when all of us E Girls hang out after dance.
