It's fall and everyone wants to sit by s nice cozy fire with a nice drink at hand. Probably Starbucks but, it is not the healthiest option there is. (According to controversy). Here's a recipe which you can make yourself!
Prep time: 2 mins
Cook time: 3 mins
Total time: 5 minsServes 2 mugs
Ingredients
• 1/2 cup of milk
• 1 table spoon of pumpkin purée
• 1 teaspoon of light sugar (brown/white)
• 1/4 teaspoon of pumpkin-pie spice
•2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
•1 cup of coffeeInstructions
1. In a saucepan whisk together the milk, pumpkin purée and the sugar.2. Cook on medium heat until hot and steamy. Stir the ingredients frequently.
3. Take of heat and whisk in the pumpkin-pie spice and vanilla extract
4. Continue to whisk until frothy
5. Pour mixture into 2 mugs filling them halfway. Then add the coffee to fill the rest.
6. Add granulated sugar for taste (optional)
7. Add whipped cream and nutmeg/ cinnamon to garnish.
Feel free to add a cinnamon flake for looks
