Ch.12 Dreams do come true

Chapter twelve

I slowly make my way down the hall, to the dining room. A man stood next to me, making sure i went were i was supposed too. We made it to the dining room were only Zach was.

"Good morning blossom, why dont you come sit down and eat," Zach said, taking a sip of his mug. I slowly make my way to the farthest seat from him, sitting down.

A lady came in, and set a plate infront of me with bacon and eggs. I really didnt want to eat it but couldnt help it, i was starving and havent ate in a couple days, so i took a bite.

After finishing my second plate Zach spoke, "So i heard screaming last night, and was told you were having a nightmare, what was it about?" He asked.

"It was nothing," I said, he slammed his fist into the table, standing up. "I asked you a question now answer me!" He yelled.

I thought for a second, remembering what i told myself before falling asleep last night, about not letting them break me. "Fine you wanna know what i was dreaming about, i was dreaming about everything that has been going on, about me being fucking abducted and locked away and then sold to you. And you wanna know what happened in the dream, what happened is i escaped. And i know i will escape, because i am stronger than i appear." I yelled back, digging my nails into my thigh as he walked over.

"Maybe you will escape, maybe you are stronger than you appear," he said, stopping right beside me. "But you will never be free from this, you are apart of this and always will be. Your dad made sure of it, so until then you will listen and do as i say. And i say its time you see what we do around here blossom."

He started dragging me, down the hall stopping infront of a closet pulling out a apron and cleaning tools. "You will be cleaning this house, with candy." A girl with short brown hair appeared around the corner walking over. Her head was down and not once did she look up. She was wearing a light blue dress that stopped at her knees and a apron just like mine. Her feet were bare and she looked scared. Seeing her reminded me of Ally, how scared she was. Zach left without another word, leaving me and Candy.

"We should begin cleaning," She turned around walking away down the hall. I follow her, looking around as we went. We scrubbed the floor, made beds and cleaned windows. Not ones did Candy look up.

"Why are you always looking down?" I finally ask as we sat down, in the living room to take a break. "Because i dont like looking up," She said getting up again, as two men walked in.

"Zach had to leave so there will not be any dinner tonight blossom, so you shall go straight to bed." Candy left with one of the men, as the other one took me to my room. I was a bit confused seeing that it was only six in the afternoon, and we had to go to bed. I pulled the apron off, laying it on the dresser. I walked back to the door, turning the door knob which was locked. Before walking back to my bed, and laying down.

It feels like everyday gets shorter, i kicked my shoes off. I start to wonder what my mother would be doing right now, if she even noticed i was gone. If anyone was even looking for me. I sat back up, starring at the door. Zach was out, and i still had a bobby pin in my hair. I slowly walked to the door, pulling the last bobby pin out of my hair. All i need to do is get this door open. Sighing i place the bobby pin in the lock.

As i turn the knob i was surprise to see the door open,and no one down the hall. I pinched myself just to make sure i wasnt dreaming. I've only been here for a day and im finally getting out. Now all i have to do is remember where to go.
