Ch. 13 Sleepy time

Chapter thirteen

I walked down a hallway that looked really familiar. I quickly make my way to a door, as I hear someone calling my name. The door wasn't lock so I ran in, making sure to close it behind me. The room was huge, and had another door that led to a balcony.

My feet were hurting so I walked over and sat on the bed realizing I was in someone's bedroom. I pull my black high heels off, setting them on the floor. I pull my feet on the bed, laying my head down on the soft pillows behind me. Sighing I look up at the ceiling, I need to find away out of here, but then again I've only been here for a couple days.

I shook my head, I defiantly needed to get out no matter how long I've been here. I needed to make sure Jake and the girls were okay. I needed to make sure I was okay, cause I'm not sure I am. All that has happened in the last couple days is way to much for me. Running away, being abducted, being hit by a car, getting raped, Losing Jake and the girls, and finding out I've been sold off by my own father, I don't know how this could get any worse than it already is.

My eyes started to close, and I felt myself drifting off to sleep. I pinched my arm growing mad at myself, I needed to get out of here not sleep. I have slept alot lately, and dont need anymore sleep. I'll be fine, I told myself repeatedly, everything will be okay in the morning.

I moved on my side as the sun shined into my eyes. I quickly open my eyes as I realize a arm wrapped around my waist. I turn back over and come face to face with Zach, who was already starring at me with his bright green eyes. I just sit starring at him, I never relize how cute he really was. I screamed, falling back on to the floor. What, did I just say the boy who bought me and had other men abducted me is cute.

"Usually I punish those who try to leave, but I guess you didn't really leave. You just ended up in my bed. Just know if this happens again you will be in trouble. Now get out, and go get dressed. I have a lot of shit to do today and don't have time to deal with you." He said sitting up, I got up and ran out not wanting to get in trouble.

I started walking to were I assume my room was, a door opening beside me. Candy walked out, fixing her dress a man falling close behind. She stayed put starring back at me, the man just walked away patting his hair down. Looking very pleased with himself.

"Do you need me to help you find your room?" She asked, the first time I ever saw her look up. "Yeah, if your not busy." Now I was looking at the ground, feeling uncomfortable.

She started down the hall and I followed. As we made it to my door, she spoke again. "Well Zach and most of the guys are going out today or well doing things, so you will be spending the day with me and Dian. We usually go hang out in the back and in the field. Some where we can just be us. It's like freedom out there." I nod my head at her, walking into my room candy closing the door behind me. "I'll wait out here," She said, giving me a half smile.

There was a yellow dress laid out on the bed, and a pair of sandals. I quickly get dressed, opening the door. Candy was on the floor crying rubbing her cheek. I watched a guy disappear in one of the rooms down the hall. "Are you okay, what happened?" She stood up, her cheek swollen red.

"Nothing I'm fine, you get used to it," I started thinking about all the times I told myself I would get used to it, after every time my mom hit me. "Come on let's just go," She said, grabbing my arm. I sighed, but let her drag me down the hall.

The sun was bright and burned my eyes, i had to shield them with my hands as we walked out. "There's Dian," Candy said pointing towards Dian who was laying in the grass not too far from us, looking up at the sky.

"Good morning ladies," She said with a smile on her face, Candy laid down next to her. "Come on blossom, lay down," she said, patting beside her. I did, looking up at the clouds still covering some of my eyes.

"It's such a beautiful day today" Candy said, a smile growing on her face. I look at both of them, I've never seen anyone so calm and relax before. It really made me feel better, seeing them.

"It really is freedom here," I said, letting myself smile. I've never been as happy as I am right now. Just to be able to relax, and feel the warmth of the sun against your skin.
