Chapter fifteen

I've been here for two weeks now and I give up. A news report came up a couple days after Jake's body was found saying that the other body was Ally's. And what made it even worse Mary was still missing. John and Frank and the rest of the people who were still at the house were all arrested, including Jake's dad and the two girls parents.

There was no news about me that I saw, but that wasn't that surprising. No one probably even knows I'm gone, I'm going to be a slave for the rest of my life. I shook my head at that thought, looking down below me. I was in Zach's room, he had me spend the night with him for satisfaction and I feel disgusted. I know I should just get used to all of this but I just cant.

I climb out the window, keeping my eyes close using my hands to feel where I was. This is it, I'm gonna jump. I don't care if it kill's me, I need to escape all of this and this is the easiest way to do it. I heard faint sirens and knew they wont coming for me. No one was ever gonna save me, just like no one saved Jake or Ally.

I took in a deep breath, "I'll be okay." I told myself as I let myself fall to the cold ground below.

Mary's pov

I was thrown over some ones shoulder, and taken back up stairs to my room while Ally was dragged off to the back of the house. I already knew that the boy who planned to leave was foolish. I may only be seven but I know there's no escape. I also know my parents still love me and Ally, and when all of this is over we will be fine. Whether or not we leave here we will be okay, like mommy said everything get's better in the end.

I was thrown into my room my already sore body hurting even more. I crawl over to my bed, sliding under the cover's. I lay my head on the hard mattress, squeezing my eyes close tight. "Tomorrow is a new day, and everything will be better," I said in a whisper, drifting off to sleep.

I woke up to Ally's voice screaming, "No please, mommy help mommy!" I sat up but kept my eye's close, "Ally it's okay mommy will come," I said only enough for me to hear. Her voice began to fade, and I could hear footsteps nearing my room.

The door knob began to turn but stopped from a man's voice, "Just leave her, she will get her turn later." There were more shouting coming from outside but I couldn't understand them. Soon after the shouting had stopped the house grew quite. There was no footsteps or voices, there was just the sound of my heart beating.

I open my eye's and kept them on the door, it would be so easy to just leave. But then again if I leave I would have no where to go. I don't know where mommy or daddy is, and at least I have a bed here. But then again if I leave I could look for mommy and daddy, and maybe find Ally on the way. I push myself off the bed, and make my way to the other side of the room. I always pace in the morning walking to one wall to the other. But something was different this morning my side and stomach hurt and I didn't know why, usually in the morning I feel better after I take my medicine Frank always gives me.

Frank never gave me my medicine, if I don't have them I could die just like they said. I quickly run to the door, stopping to rub my side. I need to go to the kitchen and look in the cabinet, that's where mommy kept the medicine so they should too. I turn the knob and slowly make my way to the steps, all I need to do is go take two spoon full and go straight back to my room.

Quickly I dig through all the cabinets but there was no medicine. Where else would someone keep medicine, in the bathroom? No I've never see any medicine in there, I guess I should check the van. I make my way to the front door, and just stand there starring at it. Okay check the van and if it's not there I will just go back to bed and sleep. I cant get in trouble if I'm just looking. My hands where shaking but I still managed to pull the door open. Frank stood above Ally's still body on the muddy ground, two other men standing next to him. I started screaming seeing the blood that covered Ally , catching Frank's attention. He slowly starts walking towards me, and I take off running straight into his arms. He lifted me up off the ground, hiding my face in the crook of his neck.

"Oh Mary you wont supposed to see any of this,"  he carried me back into the house, shutting the door behind us. "Everything will be fine I promise sweetheart," He told me, holding me in his arms. He held me close until I was ones again asleep, this time safe in Frank's arm.

**Thanks for reading sorry for this really short update I know it sucks and I'm sorry for taking so long to update I've been dealing with a lot lately and have a lot on my mind, but I'm back now so yeah. I do have a question though, should I put this book under short story's or no?**
