After the slumber party, Marissa, Cherry, Nicco, a girl named Adrianne, and I revisited Hemmings Zacresto. Although, it changed.
The school is abandoned. It looks ugly. Like literally, ugly. It's uglier than any crazy criminal's house.
An old backpack was laying there. A single shoe was found. Fruit cups and cereal boxes were found around the ground.
Some of the trees looked like they were gonna die. Some already looked dead. Dead. All I think about is how this school was so energetic years ago. Now it looks like a hurricane hit it.
I forgot that Audrey was waiting for us in our minivan. Yeah, we all payed and bought for a mini van with the license plate "HZBITCH".
Literally, it felt so abandoned and sick. We walked around. All the classroom doors were open. Each and every classroom smelled the same. Wooden. It's hard to describe the smell of wood. It's just, wooden.
I kept texting Audrey while taking a tour of the abandoned school.
"Hurry up. I'm hungry for lunch." She said.
"It's 9:30 :/"
"So?"
"It's a little too early for lunch..."
"Since when did you care about the time we ate?"
"True."
"What time did we eat breakfast?"
"7:30."
"Ok. Two hours later I'm hungry for lunch. Reminds me of you when you were in high school."
"Jeez."
"What time do you think you're gonna leave?"
"Probably around 10:00."
"Alright, I'll go to the McDonald's down the street real quick so when you guys are done we can just go straight back to the house."
"Cool."
We all split up to check out the rest of the school.
Marissa got the PE field. Nicco got the locker rooms. Cherry got the freshman building. Adrianne got the cafeteria. I got the garden near the locker rooms.
The garden plants are super dead. Just like my heart.
I can see Marissa walking and remembering all the golf games we had there. And the PE sports. All that jazz.
I wonder why Nicco was in the locker rooms. Maybe that's where he made his first profit as everybody's favorite drug dealer.
Cherry learned how to constantly laugh in her freshman year. I remember that because I have her in every class every year. That laugh doesn't haunt me as it used to.
The cafeteria smells the opposite of what it used to smell like. It smelled good, but now it smells bad. Are there dead bodies here or something?
Why did his school get abandoned so easily? We're all 25 years old (Audrey and Morgan are 29.) We were seniors when we were 17. Only 8 years ago, no more than 10, this school had light in it. But now, it looks like an abandoned theme park.
You could convert all these rooms to a special hotel with a cafeteria and an auditorium as the theater. That would be a great profit.
I see rose petals on the ground. It reminds me of the last time, well almost the last time, I saw JJ. He gave me a rose, and I was a bad girl and tore the petals off and threw them on the floor.
He was lying to me about himself his whole life, or when he met me. Same thing.
Travis is afraid of JJ. Probably because JJ is fit, and Travis is a noodle. JJ is a Dean Ambrose, and Travis is a fetus Luke Hemmings. Noodle!
Travis with his dirty blonde hair and grey eyes makes him cute, but JJ with his dark brownish red hair and eyes as brown as chocolate makes him the most attractive of them all.
Marissa has this secret boyfriend I don't even know about. She barely mentions him to us, but they're happy together. It's like mentioning him would be a "sin".
We turned into scream queens at this exact moment.
I heard a scream. It came from the locker room. The girls one :/ that's not a surprise, but who would scream? I ran inside, and it took me a while to find what had happened. Then I saw it. I can't believe it. I wanted to run but who knows what'll happen to me.
Nicco. His lifeless body was next to the showers. How did Nicco get stabbed here?
Wait. If someone murdered Nicco, then that means we're not the only ones on campus.
I ran outside and saw everybody outside the locker room.
"Guys!" I yelled.
They approached me.
"Guys, Nicco!"
"What about him?" Marissa asked.
"He's dead!"
It was at the moment when we all ran inside and saw the body. Now it really started to smell like dead bodies.
Cherry screamed like she was the one getting killed.
"Why would someone murder our drug dealer?!" Cherry demanded an answer.
"Profit went wrong?" Marissa said.
This was sick. We left right when Audrey texted me saying she's ready to pick us up.
We ran inside the minivan and I yelled at her to step on the brakes.
I can't believe we left nicco's body there
It's not selfish if we tried to save ourselves.
