Rod was having a special party to celebrate his "1 millionth paycheck" at work. The venue was at the Griffith Park Observatory.
Obviously we were invited and obviously I took Travis with me. I'm still heartbrokened about JJ...
I wonder if Marissa will bring her boyfriend.
I've never met him. I usually tell people I did so they don't call me a bad friend.
Travis was getting some punch while I sat in the table drinking champagne.
I'm afraid that someone will get murdered tonight. It's November 4. Thanksgiving month. Veterans Day month. I understand the murders of Halloween but thanksgiving will make no damn sense.
Nope. Marissa went alone. She said her boyfriend had "to go to work."
Jeez Luise Marissa Lewis !
We wanna meet him already.
Sadly, we can't.
This book is gonna end soon cuz I'm Too lazy to write about the rest of my life. I'll just talk about the rest of the deaths and stuff.
So anyways, Rod talked about jack. Of course I clapped for it.
"Jack Nakpil, we only talked for a few times. We had a lot in common. We loved fixing our hair, dressing nice, eating cherry pies-"
Cherry blurted out from the crowd,"SAME!!!"
Awkward silence for about 15 seconds.
"Let's go get some more macaroni," I whispered to cherry as we got uo together.
All I could think about was mac and cheese 🤑
Some of rod's family members came to give me a hug about Jack. I hugged them and pretended like I knew them at the same time.
🤗🤗🤗🤗
Hugs everywhere.
I'm not really a hugger. I'm more of a "talker".
Audrey and Tristan were sitting at a table. Possible rekindle? I think not. They literally have no chemistry. It's sad. Sad in a funny way.
They were showing on the projection Rod's new movie.
I got myself a plateful of Mac and cheese, a chicken strip, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a root beer. It's basically "rich people kfc".
I love when Rod has parties. The food is great, the music is fun, the atmosphere is my type of atmosphere. If only y'all knew ;)
Then something unusual happened.
The projection had shown a static image. Then it changed to those colored bars. I don't know what they're called. Even though I don't know what this is, I can tell its gonna be bad.
Rod is no where to be seen. Oh no. Please don't let it be.
The bars changed to a security camera view of what's going inside the room Rod was in.
He seemed confused about where he was. He was looking everywhere for he killer.
The killer came up from behind. He/she looked at the camera then back at Rod. I tried to run inside, but Travis held me back.
"Let me go!" I demanded.
"Jen, it's not safe!" He tried to stop me.
"I'll be fine! I'm always fine!" I tried moving but he really didn't want me to take the risk.
"Travis, let her go!" Audrey yelled out.
"What? Why?!" He exclaimed.
I was looking at the projection. Rod and the killer were just staring at each other.
"Jen can handle this!" Audrey said.
Thank you so much Audrey. You always were my favorite.
Travis let me go and I ran as fast I could inside. The door was locked. I tried to kick it open, but it wouldn't budge. I finally kicked it open, but I was too late...
Rod was laying on the floor with a dart gun darts all over his face and chest.
I wanted to break down. I approached him and tried to see if he's still alive, but he's not.
Jack literally just died two days ago and now Rod is gone!
I left the room, and went back outside. Everyone was standing, looking at me.
Audrey ran over and hugged me cuz she know that I cherish Rod so much. Marissa looked down. Travis just looked at me.
You can hate me all you want, but I blame Travis for not letting me in on time.
