Breezestar held the two apprentices a few days back. Or a lot. Leopardpaw wanted to continue training as well. So Breezestar decided the apprentinces could have partners in training for now on. Well, it was a few more days before they became apprentinces anyways.
Nightpaw and Snowpaw came in side by side with two small mice, and one plump rabbit. They have done very well, Breezestar was surprised. During these times, everything was plentiful. Including war, for some reason. Prey, cats, battle, and more. Surprisingly, none of the cats got hurt during this battles. He wondered if Fuzzytail actually gave him a favor.
No cats spoke much this morning. They were all tired. All bored. Stormpaw was blind. Literally. Breezestar and the apprentinces went out to hunt, even though he figured they were tired. But he chose them anyways, the apprentinces were better hunters than the warriors suddenly. He kept of thinking of what Brightsky said. That was one of the punishments, he remembered. It echoed through his mind as he crouched down, under the tall bushes grasses, flowers, and sticks. Breezestar darted through that air, swiping a small gray rabbit. It was hard to catch rabbits sometimes, but with Breezeclan's swiftness, they could catch the fastest thing in the forest, moor, or swamps. Even cats!
Lazy day, they call it. Until Stormpaw and Fuzzypaw came running in, side by side, worries. "Leopardpaw! She's hurt!" Fuzzypaw yowled. Breezestar caught Stormpaw's expression. He had felt some feeling for her. Not normal, especially for an apprentince.
He loved Fuzzypaw.
Breezestar then set off with Firetail, Badgerfang, Froghop, and all the apprentinces. He was worried. It has been a while since he had been to the end of the territory where Leopardpaw was fidgeting. Her paws kicked out slowly. Her teeth were chattering and her eyes were filled with horror. Firetail stepped up. "My beautiful kit! What happened, Fuzzypaw?" Fuzzypaw didn't say anything. Breezestar dug her nose into Leopardpaw's fur. "Rogues," he hissed remembering how Brightsky was just killed like that out of nowhere. The cats exchanged glances. Stormpaw looked into the distance. He couldn't tell where he was looking anyways. Breezestar made the other cats lift Leopardpaw onto his back. He barely felt any weight. It was easier to run that way anyways. He set off with his clanmates. It has been awhile since he has seen Foxtail. Breezestar felt the air pound into his face. Finally he reached the camp.
Foxtail examined Leopardpaw very closely. Fuzzypaw, Froghop, and Firetail looked down. (Just noticed how they all have F to end their name) Breezestar hopped in, fresh kill in his jaws. The five cats not including Leopardpaw ate it. Leopardpaw was left resting. She suffered from shock. Breezestar then noticed that he had seen no blood at the scene. Was she really attacked by rogues? How can they find out? They haven't seen the rogues forever now. Foxtail finished eating. "She wasn't attacked by rogues." "I knew it!" Breezestar burst out. Fuzzypaw just looked at him. Same with the others. "How?" Froghop said. "Well..."
