"Another one behind you Keiko!" My teammate shouted. I turned, but it was too late. A vampire jumped on me. Pinning me to the ground. My weapon was hit out of my hands. Shoot! He leaned down to my neck. He was gonna take my blood and kill me in the process. I closed my eyes.

Suddenly, I felt him disappear. I opened my eyes, Guren stood there. Thank goodness. I stood up and brushed myself off. I picked up my sword. It was useless against vampires. I was mad.

"Thanks Guren. Though, why are you here? You never take patrol." I asked.

"I couldn't get ahold of your team so I had to personally come out and get you guys." He sighed. "Luckily, I was in time to help out, even if it's a pain to deal with."

"Is there anything you needed us for?" I asked.

"Well, I was trying to get the patrols back in because there were vampires out. Anyway let's head back." He suggested. I nodded my head.

We headed back to Ikebukuro. That's where I lived. As we neared one of the schools Guren finally spoke. "Oh by the way..." He started. I looked up at him. "Yuu has gotten himself suspended from patrols." He informed me. I stopped walking. That idiot!

"What's going to happen with him?" I asked. Guren shrugged.

"I guess we'll just stick him in school with the rest of the troublemakers. It'll teach him a lesson." He explained as he kept walking. I ran and caught up.

"Then... Please let me attend school with him!" I asked. I have been close with Yuu ever since we escaped. He shook his head.

"I can't let you. I've made the arrangements for him to get out, but only if he can make a friend. I know that won't happen for awhile and if you were around it would take even longer." He told me. I thought about it. He was right. I couldn't argue with Guren. Though, if I had to wait to see Yuu, then I want to become stronger for him!

"Well then, Guren." He looked at me. "I want to get stronger then! Please help me learn to kill vampires!" I shouted. He looked a bit surprised for a minute. He thought about it, then he nodded.

"You've been progressing well. I guess I could let you train." He told me. I smiled. I jumped and gave him a hug. He responded with a pat on the head. Guren has been like a big brother to me.

"Thank you Guren! You're the best!" I shouted.

A month went by in no time. I trained with Guren and learned everything I could. He always kept me up to date with how Yuu was doing. It seems that Yuu had made quite a few friends. I was happy for him, yet I missed him. Today was the day Guren said I could return. I actually have been given a special weapon that has a demon trapped in it. A scythe. It was a scythe with a flame of blue that was perfect for me. My demon wasn't able to control me at all. I have total control.

We were riding in a black jeep together. One of the ones that the army uses. We headed for Shibuya which is where Yuu was still located. I was nervous. It's been a month. What if he's replaced me? What if he hates me for not staying around him?

Before I could overthink we arrived. Guren parked the jeep and we got out. The school in view. I could see something on the roof. A demon. My worries got to me. "Guren! There's a demon up there!" I shouted. He looked.

"Oh that's just Shinoa. Yuu must've challenged her again." He explained. I see. She must be one of his new friends. I didn't know why, but just the thought of her made me mad and uncomfortable. "Jealous?" Guren teased. I punched him in the arm.

"Of what?" I asked. He just smiled. Whatever. I was excited now. Yuu was so close. I looked to Guren and he gave me the okay to go ahead. I nodded and professionally walked toward the school. Once I got closer my pace quickened. Soon I was running. I made my way to the roof as soon as I entered the school. Anyone I passed stared at me. I was in uniform so they were probably wondering what a member of the moon demon company was doing here.
