Party's Over (Teaser)

Hi guys, this is like a teaser to the next chapter I'm going to post tomorrow.

John relax, the party can still go on, I thought, trying to convince myself. Oh who was I fooling? Myself of course.

Well it didn't take long before I got to the tree house to break the bad news.

"Party is over guys," I informed.

"What the hell are you saying?" One of them complained

"John, the party hasn't even started so how can it be over?" Nathan, my colleague lamented.

"Look guys, I'll explain later but it's an emergency. You can't stay here."

None of them seemed to understand a thing I was saying.

I sighed, "Look, you can hang me later for this, but the party's Over."

The crowd grumbled on and on, until someone came, yelling and limping in pain. It was Benjamin, the guy who acted cool all the time. But this time he totally lost it.

"Your.. your mother has gone crazy," he stammered and continued, "I went looking for my brother inside your house, and she went wild, she bit my left leg. Darn it!It hurts."

I looked at his legs. A good chunk of it was bitten off and the bleeding hadn't stopped.

Now, everyone was looking quite tensed. I ordered for water and a picked up a clean cloth for Benjamin's leg.

"My little brother, he's still in there," he reminded.

"Okay, but first you need to be taken to the local hospital," I said.

"Hospital? There's no need."

"But--"

"Look, I'm not leaving here until I see my brother. You hear?" Benjamin interrupted.

"Alright," I agreed, "the rest of you can go while I look for Ben's brother." I suggested.

Now, I didn't need to say that twice. Almost everyone was freaking out and was ready to leave.

"I think two people should go, just to make the search faster." Nathan, my colleague volunteered.

So Nathan and I decided to go look for Benjamin's bro. This time I was getting right into danger and not running away from it. I just hoped it was worth it.
