We headed back to the camp and everyone was delighted to have Benjamin back, most especially Alex. Now I knew the connection between Alex and I may dwindle, but we couldn't deny what was starting to go on between the both of us. It was real. Damn real! Even Benjamin started to feel uneasy about us. The other day, Alex and I were together, helping out with foodstuffs for the camp when I caught him giving me a devilish look. I simply ignored and pretended like it was nothing. Later in the day, Alex wanted to burrow a gun from me and he opposed.

"Alex," he spoke, "there's no need to borrow a gun from him. I have one here."

He brought out his pistol, then he gave me another dirty look. This time, I did the same to him. I knew it meant 'war' between us.

I searched for Alex almost everywhere I could think of, but she was nowhere to be found. We were running out of weapons. I needed her to know so we could decide on what to do.

On dashing into Benjamin's room, I saw Alex resting her head Benjamin's shoulder.

"What else do you want?" Benjamin barked.

"I'm so sorry but I need to talk to Alex."

"Why Alex? Call on Nathan."

"Yeah, he's also on his way."I informed.

Nathan ran into the tent, breathing heavily. He definitely saw our angry faces.

"Please," he said pleading, "it's high time both of you stopped arguing. Just get physical and beat the hell out of each other."

At this point I was wondering if that was actually an advise or not.

"Your friend here doesn't understand the true meaning of 'privacy'," said Benjamin.

Nathan stupidly brought out his torn dictionary and handed it to me.

"What are you doing?" I asked angrily.

"You can look up the meaning of 'privacy' in here." He winked.

"Guys, let's get serious here." I pointed out. "We are running out weapons already so that makes us vulnerable to an attack."

"So what's the plan?" Nathan asked.

"Obviously, the plan is to come here to ask us about a plan," Benjamin retorted.

"I have a plan!" I shot back. "I just need the consent of everyone."

"And since when did you become 'The great leader'?" Benjamin continued.

"I never said I was - "

"But you definitely act like that."

I sighed. "Look, I do what I can do to help."

"Go to hell," he muttered.

"With you, hell is not far off because talking with you already feels like hell." I growled.

"Guys, stop it!' Alex finally spoke.
She continued, "What's the plan?"

"I was thinking we should go back to Komalia prison in search of guns. If we are lucky, we may see some. That's the best I can think of right now." I suggested.

"Great," said Benjamin, "you are wishing us death. You could have just said 'happy death day' in a nut shell."

"Staying here without being properly armed is dangerous. The camp could get over run by zombies anytime." Alex reasoned.
