Still summer of 2115. My father's funeral );

I stared blankly at my father's grave. I never thought the day would come. Or at least, I never thought that I would know this at such a young age. I should've known war was too much for him. The priest was talking.
   "He risked his life for others, for a whole country. We shall always honour you, Christopher." The whole group started to cry, including me. We all took turns putting flowers and other items on my father's grave. I put on an American flag.

      I had a hard time sleeping that night. The thought that my father was dead went in my mind for what felt like hours. Your father is dead. Your father is dead. Your father is dead. You're losing your sanity... What?! I didn't really flip out in real life, but that last sentence took me by surprise, so I only got 8 hours of sleep that night. I heard that phrase again, and again, and again; you're losing your sanity.
