"You've got mail," PJ said, with a letter in hand.

"Really? Huh," Dan reached for the letter and opened it, curious as to what was inside but also not caring that much.

"What is it?" PJ peered over Dan's shoulder.

Dan kept his eyes down on the paper, reading it, as he made his way to the couch. PJ and Chris sat on either end of him.

"Well," PJ urged.

"Who's it from?" Chris asked.

"Ah- a friend. You don't know him."

"What's his name?"

"Tom. He was a therapist that the doctor recommended me, but I cancelled any appointments and I sure as hell ain't going back there."

"Why not?"

"I don't need it," he mumbled.

"What's it say?"

"Peej," Chris interrupted, "you are so nosy."

He shrugged, "I can't help it."

"He wants me to come over to his house tomorrow night for a party," Dan told them. "Everything's here, even his address."

"You should go, it could take your mind off things for a while, at least a little bit."

"I don't know..."

"Why not?" Chris folded his arms, "It could help to see some more friends."

"You're my friends."

"We don't count," Chris argued.

"Could you come with me?"

"Are we allowed to?" PJ looked at the letter but Dan moved it out of his sight.

"Ya, definitely. Come with me. I don't want to be alone."

"As long as it gets you to go, then fine. Peej?"

"I'm down," he smiled.

"Alright. Well, I'm going to go relax for a bit."

"Okay," they watched him walk into his room alone.

"Well, at least we're getting him to go out," PJ tried.

"Yeah," Chris sighed, walking towards PJ and wrapping his arms around his waist. He leaned his forehead against his, "I just wish we could make him happy."

"Only Phil can do that."

"I know," he whispered.

"Phil," Dan whined, "it's cold out here."

Phil wrapped his arm around Dan's waist and Dan snuggled closer to him.

"Where are we going?" Dan asked, as Phil led them around the high piles of snow.

Phil only smiled in reply. They sat on a bench, with branches hanging above it. He snuck out two thermoses and handed one to Dan.

"What's this?"

"Hot chocolate."

"You're the best," Dan gave him a kiss on the nose.

Phil giggled, taking a sip from the drink before standing up and making a snowball.

"Phil, what are you-" the snowball came flying at Dan and hit him in the shoulder. "You better get ready," Dan warned, rolling snow in his hands.
