Almost two weeks has passed and I and Silver have been seeing each other low key. She would always find a way to make it over my house and during school we would sneak off to our kissing spots.

Her friends didn't like me though and I didn't like them. She was friends of all the dumb jocks and popular girls of the school. Ever since freshmen year they didn't like me because I would always correct them in class and I didn't like them because they bully me and because they are non intellectual beings.

I told my best friend Marcus about everything. He thinks I'm crazy for it but I don't care. I really like her and as of now She means everything to me. Basketball season was starting and somehow Silver convinced me to play because the cheerleaders also cheer at the girls games.

I walked into the gym and everyone else was chatting with their friends. I put my bad down and tied up my basketball shoes. I heard my name being called. I looked over to my right and Silver was waving over at me with her Pom Poms in her hands. I smiled back at her and gave a little wave. They called everyone who was trying out onto the court. I walked out and I was taller than all of the girls. I'm 6'0.

We started doing dribbling drills and I did pretty well, the coach seemed very impressed. I remember a lot of the things from when I and my cousins use to play at family cook outs. The running and conditioning was also easy because I work out every day. When it finally came to shooting I nailed it. I was making in every layup. All my 3 pointers were falling and I heard Silver cheering me on from the side. Everyone in the gym was cheering me on actually. I've never had so much attention on me. I even saw the other cheerleaders cheering my name. After try outs the coach told me that I made the team and that I was captain. I went to the locker room to take a shower. I was the last one out. When I came out the locker room I was attacked with kisses. I started smiling and I pulled her into a classroom.
"Baby, you did so good." She said between kisses.
"Thank you" I said laughing.
"It was actually hot watching you play." She said kissing on my neck.
"Baby, stop we have to get home." I said.
"Fine" she said kissing me one last time. We walked out of the classroom and into the lobby. She was getting a ride home from her new cheerleader best friend Alexis. I walked Silver to Alexis's car.
"Hey, Chris" Alexis said fluttering her eyelashes at me. I waved and I saw Silver roll her eyes. "I can't wait to watch you play." She said smiling at me.
"Oh really?" I said smiling back.
"Yeah, you'll hear me cheering for you" she bit her lip and Silver interrupted the conversation.
"Can we go? My mom is waiting for me." Silver said.
"Bye, silver" I said smiling.
"Bye, Chris" Silver said dry.
"Bye, Chris" Alexis said with a perked voice.
"Bye, Alexis" I said. When they drove off I got a text from Silver saying we needed to talk. I walked over to my car and drove home. When I got home silver was sitting on my bed. I leave my balcony door unlocked now for her.
"Wassup babe?" I asked.
"What's up is the fact that Alexis was flirting with you in front of me. She fucking likes you Chris. People see you play basketball for one day and now every girl in school has a crush on you. I mean yeah you looked hot but that doesn't give them any right to try and make a move on you now. You're mine." She rambled on for a minute about how mad she was. I couldn't help but smile. She is adorable when she is mad. "Do you think this is funny? Because it's not." She said.
"No it's not funny. You're just cute when you're mad." I said picking her up and spinning her around. She was so short compared to me. She was only 5'4.
"Babe stop I'm trying to be serious." She said laughing as I spun her.
"How can you be mad baby, you have a cover up boy friend. Why can't I have a cover up girl friend." I asked.
"Because I will beat her ass" she said. I couldn't stop laughing. "You know what fine. You can have a cover up girlfriend, just as long as I can approve and disapprove upon who it is." She said.
"Baby, I don't want a girlfriend. I want you to be my girlfriend honestly, but I know that can't happen right now." I said.
